What a fantastic find! Out of all the islands Lewis and Harris have the worst normal style campsites, however this little gem totally changes the game! Only 2 pitches with a toilet and shower each! Absolutely lovely hosts, a shed full of local information, an amazing hot shower, dog friendly, smell of peat fire in air, and we parked facing the field - beautiful. Water tap and electric if needed.
A nice quiet and friendly place which is great for a quick stopover which is exactly what we did. Douglas was really friendly and the facilities are nice and clean.
Place is clean but owner won’t let you use facilities or empty waste unless you’re staying. Offered to pay for services but straight no.
Eigentlich wollte ich nur eine Nacht bleiben, es wurden dann 2. Catherine ist einfach ein Schatz,so viele tolle Informationen und Tipps ..Alles ist sauber und gepflegt, man kann toll spazieren gehen und man kann sogar Wäsche waschen.
This is a lovely quiet spot on a little Croft shower block very clean and well kept hard standing spot on even slept late!
useful stopover and feels like a luxury to be assigned your own bathroom while travelling. Not a great deal to look at or do locally from the site and you are parked behind someone's property, but great for a quiet stopover. no washing up or laundry facilities.
No option to pay for just showers. And we thought the cost of £22 for 2 adults and a child was expensive to stay in the location

Spent a night here on our travels. We turned up around 21:00 so fairly late but we were made welcome by the owners. £20 for EHU and very clean facilities.
Catherine is amazing! She is so friendly and chatty without getting in your way Great spot for the night, very good facilities as others have said. Everything you need and it's now £20 for the night. Highly recommended.
We have just stayed the night here. We called in on our way to the Butt of Lewis to see if there was any pitches available. Catherine was really lovely she booked us in and gave me a quick tour of the site. Loads of info for walks and things to do around the area and the washing/shower facilities are well kept, clean and tidy.
we have stayed here a few times now perfect for a stop over, owner is wonderful would recommend and will be going back this year.
Lovely welcoming spot. Cath is very welcoming and couldn’t be of helped more…without being to keen, we were left to our own devices after the initial introduction. Electric hook up, water, showers and toilet. Also a nice little walk down to the beach.
stayed here July 2021 great overnight stop everything you need at hand and more, Catherine was so friendly and gave Great local information on walks and things to see and do including local cafe's to grab a tea and cake.
