(SN11 0PW) - Unnamed Road

Personally I found it very difficult to access, huge potholes everywhere on the road up for about a mile, took ages as I had to drive so slowly and even still the van was rocking all over the place. Made it but it doesn’t seem like anything special, also as a solo camper I like to be able to leave easily if I need to and at this place I felt very trapped in so I didn’t stay. Maybe in a 4x4!

Stayed here for 1 night passing through. Nice and chilled. A couple of cars with kids in, but no wheel spins or load music. Think they were having a smoke. If you carry on past the dirt track before you get to the spot, there is actually another spot right next to the Devizes horse and had a few campers in already. If you’re by yourself and want some security of other vanlifers, park at this one.

sehr schöner Platz für die Nacht. wir standen nicht auf dem Parkplatz, sondern an dem Weg der weiter führt. dort kann man auch sehr gut stehen. es kommen nur sehr wenige Leute vorbei. diejenigen die kommen, gehen mit ihren Hunden spazieren. sie waren sehr freundlich. man hat hier eine sehr ruhige Nacht.

Good spot but difficult to find. Kind of parking space as start of a small walk to a no longer existing fort (to find it search for "Roundway Down Iron Age Hill Fort"). Some dog walkers in the morning but very quiet. Way to the spot is paved but with lots of holes - drive slowly. Good 4G signal.

Really lovely parking bay at the corner of the road! Beautiful sights, out of the way and very quiet with a few dog walkers around. Beautiful sunset and sunrise!

Go past house on GPS leads onto Byway open all year round hard surface no mud,drove my motohome to nice bit no problem in December,Ideal if you don’t want to be found.
