Safe park up in heart of village. Lady behind the bar at check in was curt and not particularly welcoming, whereas the chap who opened the barrier was pleasant. Several bars, coffee shops & public toilets nearby. No toilets on the site itself. Service bay for water and waste. No bins, but there's a daily collection for an extra charge. Pitches all hardstanding with riverside and mountain views.
Highly recommended, safe, quiet and cozy. Right close to the lovely little town of Sneem. Great pub over the road Murphys bar. Great price with or without electric.

Très bel emplacement. Toutefois, l'eau potable est jaunâtre, est-elle vraiment potable ? Mise dans un bidon, elle ne décante pas et au bout de 48h elle est toujours jaunâtre.
Area attrezzata sul fiume con carico e scsrico, € 15, e elettricità, + € 5. Non ci sono servizi. Non ci sono cestini ed il loro smaltimento è a pagamento: & 2 o € 3 a secondo delle dimensioni del sacco. Notte tranquilla anche se in serata il fiume si era alzato un pochino a causa delle piogge senza però creare problemi di sorta.
Excellent motorhome park, water services and EHU for €20 a night. Lovely village with plenty of restaurants and pubs. Recommended for a night or two.

Toller Platz (für die Womo-Nachbarn kann der Platz ja selbst nichts), alles vor Ort, was man braucht: Pub, Restaurants, Bäckerei, Lebensmittelladen etc. Alles fussläufig zu erreichen. Ruhig gelegen, Ver- und Entsorgung toll. Müll kostet 2 Euro für nen kleinen Sack (40 Liter) und 3 Euro für nen großen Sack (80 Liter) und empfinden wir als fair!
Liegt schön am Fluss. Entsorgung gut platziert.
Lovely facility. Laid out in very well spaced and laid out pitches. Next to a river and views of the waterfall. Good dumping & filling facility which was easy to use. You have to register and pay at Dan Murphy's Pub which is just up in the town. Very nice place to have a pint of Guinness for me and an Irish Coffee for my wife.
Wij konden er niet op voor 12u inchecken. Zeer mooie plaats, leuk dorp en restaurants vlakbij. 20€ met stroom. Wandeling mogelijk, de locale Golden retriever, die loopt los en schijt overal.

Stayed here 1 night. Really nice site. A lot of effort has gone into making it. On the side of the river very close to the centre of the village. Motorhome service point very clean. Handy signing in at the local pub as you can grab a Guinness at the same time

Bel emplacement pour passer la nuit avec un camper. Très bien aménagé , à 100 mètres du village à côté de l’église. Vue sur une belle rivière. Pas de WC ou douche mais de quoi vidanger eau grise et eau noire. Prix € 20.- avec électricité. Magasin, pub et restaurant à proximité.
Alleen gebruik gemaakt van de voorzieningen. Moest inchecken bij de bar om de hoek. Jongen wist niets over de camping en de baas was er niet. Hebben de eigenaar geprobeerd te bellen maar nam niet op. Hebben erg lang gewacht en uiteindelijk zelf alles moeten uitzoeken.
Fantastic site with incredible views, and a the owner Sean is a gentleman. The site is clean and has hard stand pitches, and has become an instant favourite for us, can't wait to go back
We’ve just stayed here for the past two nights. It’s a lovely little stopover in a beautiful location right next to the river. There are a few pubs/shops a few minutes walk up the road. We checked out pubs and we can recommend both! With the last review on here saying the place was closed we sent a what’s app via the Facebook page to check it was open and checked in/paid in Dan Murphy’s bar.
Wir wollten heute einchecken in der Bar. Leider wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Platz geschlossen ist. Wir haben ihn zu Fuss erkundet, ein wirklich schöner Ort. Lassen wir ihm die wohlverdiente Winterpause. Wir durften glücklicherweise ums Eck auf dem Kirchplatz übernachten. Leider keinerlei Hinweise, dass der Platz nicht geöffnet ist und wann er wieder öffnet.

Tidy little place with a lovely outlook. We did have to wait half an hour for someone to come and let us in which was a bit annoying, but can’t complain about the site. Felt safe with all the cameras. If they put in a couple of porta cabin toilets and showers they could charge much more.

No toilets or showers but this is a great place for a peaceful night’s sleep in a picturesque setting only a few metres from the village. Only 20 euros with electricity. Try O’Sheas for good pub food and Murphy’s bar for a pint while you pay your campsite fees.

Un gran área en un lugar precioso. los servicios de aguas están muy bien. Y el pub también. La cuestión de las basuras que comentan es general en todo Irlanda porque son muy estrictos con la gestión de residuos.

Stop pour une nuit impeccable, accueil très agréable et village sympa. Il faut effectivement payer au pub au-dessus. Bonne ambiance avec des joueurs de musique irlandaise le soir où nous y étions. Pour les poubelles, c’est indiqué en fait qu’il faut payer 3€ au pub pour acheter un sac poubelle à laisser sur place au départ. Toute la famille recommande!

Moin, wir stehen hier für eine Nacht. Leider keine Toiletten oder Duschen vorhanden. Die Abfallentsorgung ist eher dürftig. Ansonsten ist der Stellplatz sauber und es gibt die Möglichkeit Strom für 5 Euro dazu zu buchen.

Sind nach einer Nacht gefahren. Da wir es merkwürdig finden so einen schönen Stellplatz zu bauen ohne Mülleimer und Klohäuschen. Die Lage ist traumhaft, aber die Müllentsorgung den öffentlichen, kleinen Mülleimern an der Straße zu überlassen ist nicht sehr sozial.
Pas de douche, ni de toilette. La personne au bar et celle qui a fait sa ronde n’étaient pas sympathiques, pas d’explication sur le fonctionnement, pas de code d’accès donné donc si personne à la barrière on ne peut pas rentrer. Nous aurions dû passer notre chemin.

Nett angelegter Platz, fußläufig zu einem schönen Ort, freundlicher Empfang. Einen Stern Abzug wegen der komplizierten Müllentsorgung. Der weiße staubige Schotter, mit dem der ganze Platz belegt ist, empfanden wir als sehr unangenehm.

Un agréable aire avec les services disponibles (sauf poubelles !), proche de la jolie petite ville. Attention aux emplacements proches de la plateforme de vidange, nous avons été embêtés par les Midges du au terrain marécageux derrière la haie.... nous n'avions pas fait attention à cela en arrivant !

Right in River Sneem. Dan Murphys bar is a good spot. Power, drinking water, grey and chemical dump (rubbish dust is extra). Sneem is a lovely village. We did not need EHU so we only paid €15. You pay in Dan Murphys bar across the road.

Lovely spot overlooking the river. 20euro including electricity. Is it just me or are you annoyed at being charged for getting rid of garbage. It’s like paying twice for your sandwich. The kettle tripped the electricity constantly. The bins around the pretty village have padlocks. Di they only want the American tourists who comes in a the tour bus. There is a man with a goat and a begging bowl.

The town is beautiful too with lots of little walks. beautiful gardens at the back of the motor home park. highly recommend it! Fabulous spot. we spent 3 nights here. Beautiful setting, plenty of room and privacy and spotless. We did some lovely walks in the area as recommended by nice lady in tourist office. Murphy's bar looks after registration and has the perfect pint of Guinness too. Can highly recommend.

The setting is the main draw to this site. Just below the falls and in the tidal part of the river. Lots to see in such a small village. No loos or showers. All other facilities fine and functional. Would return and recommend.
Einer der besten Plätze in Irland (wenn man keine Toilette oder Dusche erwartet). Traumhafter Blick, gerade Parzellen, sehr ruhig… für 15/20€ (ohne/mit Strom).
It was a major letdown for the following reasons: 1. The pitches are exceptionally dusty grey gravel that goes everywhere and is difficult to wash off. 2. At night the midges come out. I’ve never been so badly bitten in my life. 3. You have to pay €2 per small bag to dispose of rubbish. 4. No facility to dispose of sewage from fixed tanks. 5. Dog poo around the pitches. Pity

Impressed with this place, beautiful position in the tidal estuary, hard standings, drive-over service point, plenty of hook-ups, easy access from the Ring of Kerry road. Rubbish disposal is available but, as in much of Ireland, charged as an extra. Very close to centre of village, short walks either side of the river, or longer ones along the Kerry Way.

Perfect location on the edge of the River Sneem. Very peaceful and a great set up. Paid for our stay at Murphy's Bar which is just across the road. Great spot for an evening pint. We will be back in better weather to try the local Kerry Way looped walks.

This had got to one of the best aires we‘ve been to ……anywhere ….. and we’ve been to lots. Location, location, location, flat hardstandings, riverside walks, minutes from the village centre with a few shops but several good bars and restaurants. Euro 20.- incl. electric. Grey and black water dump new, fresh water tap. No toilets but this is only for motorhomes and is not a campsite.

C'est bien placé, en plein centre village. C'est propre, plat. Mais c'est cher : proche du prix d'un camping pour une aire de camping car avec seulement le point d'eau claire et l'évacuation des eaux grises. Bonus de 2 euros pour la poubelle...

beautiful setting, fishing and dog walks nice village ... no toilets but u can empty your waste well worth a visit and stop over whilst doing the ring of Kerry a word of warning don't use your sat nav it leads to impossible hills stick to the main N road ..
We paid €5 to empty the grey and black water plus fill up with drinking water. We didn't stay but would be happy to stay there in the future.

Ein sehr schöner Stellplatz, eigentlich wollten wir nur 1 Nacht bleiben, aber es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir 2 Nächte geblieben sind. Auf dem Platz gibt es keine Duschen oder Toiletten, aber im Dorf oben hat es öffentliche Toiletten. Wir haben 15€ bezahlt ohne Strom, mit wären noch 5€ mehr. Das Dorf ist auch sehr sympathisch und lädt für einen Besuch ein.

Great little camping spot! We only stayed there a couple of hours because we needed electricity and they only charged us 5 euros, nothing for the parking spot! Lovely people too.

Wir sind spät angekommen und konnten um 22:45 in der Murphys Bar gerade noch einen Platz ergattern. Wir mussten ohne Strom 15€ bezahlen. Man kann Wasser auffüllen und alles leeren. Stromanschlüsse sind auch vorhanden. Für 2€ kann man am Morgen einen kleinen Abfallsack entsorgen lassen. Gemütlicher kleiner Park um eine Nacht zum auftanken zu verbringen.

Excellent with a feel just like a French Aire. And the village and surrounding area are about as picturesque and interesting as anywhere in Europe. We need more places like this in Ireland - well done to the organisers. Entry is a bit tight for larger motorhomes. We managed fine with a 7.5 metre AClass but anything bigger or longer might need a confident driver. But well worth the effort.

Spot bienvenu dans un secteur peu pourvu en stationnements. Accès un peu délicat pour grands véhicules, on y arrive quand même
Lovely spot, great river views. Noisy kids playground nearby but otherwise excellent.
OTTIMO per I camper / motorhome. Prezzo 10€ fissi al giorno (non conta il numero delle persone). Piccolo sovrapprezzo per elettricità. Acqua, scarico wc (sewage water) e piattaforma di scarico acque luride (waste water). Tantissimo spazio. Tranquillità assoluta. Tutto inghiaiato. Il centro abitato è piccolo ma accogliente e ben fornito di tutti I negozi. Molti ristoranti e pub con musica live.
Aire calme qui a le mérite d'exister vue la rareté en Irlande et son prix bas. Bien moins cher qu'un camping pour faire les vides et les pleins.
Sur la route du kerry, difficile de s'arrêter, de trouver des lieux comme celui-ci. calme en contrebas du village. pas encore d'électricité sur tous les emplacements mais à priori cela devrait venir. 10e la nuit avec les services.
Parfait pour passer une nuit, camping très tranquille, eau propre, vidange eaux grises et Wc, Electricité, tout y est sauf container déchets ??? Jolies places bien délimitées personnellement pour 10 euros, il n’y a rien à dire (+5 euros l’électricité)
Stayed here in June 2019. A lovely quiet riverside location minutes from the town centre with lots of pubs, restaurants, shops etc.
Aire sympa et calme avec électricité, vidanges et eau pour 15 € (10 sans électricité).
Lugar todavía en construcción pero muy agradable y tranquilo situado a la orilla Del Río , el chek in se realiza en el Pub Ma Murphis (casa roja) 15 euros noche con electricidad , pueblo agradable y buenas cervezas
Sommes passés pour voir vers midi en n'ayant pas l'intention de nous arrêter, avons vidé nos eaux grises sur une belle plateforme en bêton faite pour avec grille de réception. Commençons à repartir et quelqu'un vient nous demander si on voulait rester la nuit et nous demande 4 €. Je lui dis que c'est trop cher. Lui laisse 2€. Pas vu de branchement électrique. Aire de services à fuir.

Joli lieu pour passer une soirée. Patron très sympa, 10 euros, 5 euros électricité. Ouvert toute l'année.
Noche muy tranquila, junto al anillo de Kerry. Buen sitio para pasar una noche. A mejorar la descarga de aguas grises.
Très bien, bel emplacement, pas trop monde nuit calme. Pour 10€ que demander de plus.
Nuit tranquille au bord de l'eau. Accès à droite de l'église. Paiement au pub sur la place après installation. Proche des commerces.
De passage le 31mai 2018. Bel endroit fermé à moins de 300m du centre et de la N70,(ring of Kerry) Places à plat en dur entourées d'herbe près de la rivière 10€ 1 nuit. 5€ pour l'électricité si besoin. Vidanges et eau comprises mais pas très pratiques
A beautiful place to spend several nights. Murphy's Bar is very welcoming and has a good atmosphere. It is being refurbished to an exceptional standard. Erin's gift shop, towards the Mace supermarket, is very much worth a visit. We highly recommend Goosey Island.
Top class setting, approx 30 spaces,restaurants pubs shops all nearby. E10 per place & E5 for ehu, free to stay until end of March, great walking country

À au moins le mérite d'être là avec des emplacements cailloux bordés de pelouse. Belle vue sur le torrent. Eau vidange k7 proche village
Bof 10 € sans électricité, pas possible de vidanger les eaux usées ou dans l'herbe. Et jeu de piste pour trouver ou vider la cassette. Seuls avantages, calme et à proximité des commerces
Endroit très sympa, 5 € l'électricité maintenant, eau potable, mais aucun service et c'est bien dommage.
Emplacement très sympa en bord de rivière. 10 € + 3 € pour l'électricité. Le village est joli avec quelques commerces. Il faut s'installer sur l'emplacement de notre choix et aller payer au Dan Murphy's Pub sur la place du village. Et y boire une Guiness !
