Lovely quiet spot on flat road by the river. Lovely view at sunset. As stated before, lots of potholes on access road. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful spot by the river, very desolate and great walks for dogs. Although the access road is very bumpy :)

Nice and quiet. didn't stay overnight as we are elocal anyway, but stayed into the evening and had some grub.

Full signal, very quiet and peaceful night without problems. A few local fisherman spend the night here too. lovely walks around the nature reserve.

Good spot to free park for as long as required. Good walking all around the area and a place for solitude.

Great location to stop or stay for a few days. The road from Besthorpe is still full of big potholes, but can be navigated with care. The spot just north is even worse! But the view is so much better. Drive slowly. Good 4G signal on 3 and EE at nature reserve. Very quiet day and night. Felt safe.

Sehr schöne, ruhige Gegend. Die Straße hin zum Stellplatz ist allerdings mit einigen Schlaglöchern versehen, da muss man ein wenig aufpassen.

24 juillet 2022 - Emplacements nombreux pratiquement tous à plat. Possibilité de balades. Pas d'accès particulier à l'eau. Quelques rares bateaux passent sur le canal. Route d'accès un peu cabossée.

Lovely quiet spot by the river. There was a sign saying "no day tickets" right alongside the river, however this may be for fishing only. Plenty of space just back from the river if there are people already fishing.

Perfect locations next to the river, the potholes were no problem, just drive carefully. We spent 1 night here. The location is also used by hobby fishermen, but everyone minds there own business.

Super Platz für eine ruhige Übernachtung. Platz für viele Wohnmobile vorhanden, schöner Spaziergang am Fluss möglich. Anfahrt über den breiten Feldweg überhaupt kein Problem. Sehr empfehlenswert

Excellent place to park up and the road isn't so bad if you're in a high van. Will be back.

Still a few potholes - enough to make you worried but not enough to stop me. Tranquil little place with lovely riverside views. Plenty of room for multiple vans to be here without invading each others space with the ability to also keep the remote feeling. I work locally so will definitely be back again some day! Great for dogs, surrounded by nature reserves and with various trails as a bonus.

Nice spot, no one bothered us but can be quite busy with cars all day and night. The road is definitely still extremely rough, some of the potholes have been filled in with peices of brick which means you have to either choose to go in massive potholes or risk your tyres on huge chunks of brick! not sure if it's worth the hassle

The road (L-shaped) is over a Kilometre long and wide enough to be parked on anywhere along it's length although the best parking is towards the end by the river. The good news is: the whole road has been graded i.e. surface levelled. Any size/weight vehicle can enjoy this spot without worries.

Very quiet and no one around at night. Yes the road to here is very rough, but easy for any vehicle and totally worth it!

Lovely place, very quiet and peaceful. Access road is long and very pot-holy but worth it. No services here. No one here but us in our 4.5 tonne MH but plenty of room for more. Went outside and found we had a flat tyre! Breakdown man wasn’t very happy so we had to leave with him unfortunately.
