Het uitzicht is prachtig, maar er rijd erg veel verkeer langs. Voor ons te lawaaierig.
Hors de la route, mais à pied d'ici jusqu'au Carn Liath Broch de l'autre côté de la route. Il y a peu de trafic sur la route.
Off the road, but walk from here to the Carn Liath Broch on the other side of the road. There is little traffic on the road.
Abseits der Straße, aber von hier aus zum Carn Liath Broch auf der anderen Straßenseite. Es gibt wenig Verkehr auf der Straße.
Stukje van de weg af, maar vanaf hier te wandelen naar de Carn Liath Broch aan de andere kant van de weg. Er gaat weinig verkeer über de weg.

prachtig uitzicht en de wandeling naar Carn Liath. Wij vinden het toch teveel herrie van voorbijrijdende auto's en vertrekken naar een rustige plek.

Great stopover, really quiet after 9pm. Had a great night's sleep. Heard the road about 6.45am.

Great spot to stay on for North Coast 500, I had the car park all to myself. Road noise dies down a bit after 9pm

Easy stop off - large wide lay-by off the road. A bit of road noise but nothing too loud. No services apart from a bin.

Stopped in the lay-by overnight. Arrived about 10 very quiet had a great nights sleep.

Exposed but quiet for traffic - the track to the Broch was a bit precarious
laurenselby10/05/2024Fab little stop parking day or night but beware crossing the road to get to the Cairn Liath. It is next to a train track but we did not see a train.

Nice wee spot for an overnighter. Come the late evening, the traffic all but stops, and a very quiet night was had. We were in a motor home, so we used the layby area, slightly sloping but no bother. The area overlooking the bay has degraded, so only really suitable for smaller vans, and you'll need your blocks.

Excellent place to stop for the night, if you actually go to the left of the layby there is another perfect spot which looks out over to the sea, enough for three or four motorhomes or campers, picture attached.

Parkplatz zur Besichtigung des Broch Cairn auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite (3 min. Fussweg). Zwischen Bahnlinie (kein Nachtverkehr) und A9 (Verkehr erträglich) gelegen, leider nicht sehr sauber. Gut für eine Nacht. Ausreichend Platz für 10 WoMo, keine Verbotsschilder, Mülltonnen vorhanden. Zum Frühstücken sind wir dann doch zum Castle Dunrobin...

Fabulous spot caien lieth parking, the cairn lieth are across the road. Worth a visit. I stayed the night. Can be noisy with cars quieter at night but that's what earplugs are for. Wheelie bins for rubbish

Beautiful views and a burger van in the morning who sells lovely food - peaceful night
