Staff and food at the hotel are excellent, typical warm highland welcome, parking is across the road, very sheltered and quiet, camping pods also use the parking so can be a bit tight for space so park considerately, 5 minutes walking distance to J O’G harbour and attractions.

Ein netter kleiner Parkplatz für Gäste des Restaurants, gegenüber vom Hotel. Der Parkplatz war gut gefüllt am Abend. Das Essen war wirklich gut und das Personal sehr freundlich!

Die Möglichkeit zu Parken sind sehr wenig und direkt an der Straße. Mit kleinen WoMo möglich. Leider zur heutigen Zeit kein Platz vorhanden.

Gute Möglichkeiten kostenfrei zu übernachten. Nichts besonderes aber ausreichend. Das Angebot gilt für Gäste des Restaurants. Essen war gut und preislich in Ordnung. Freundliche Miarbeiter. Fußmarsch zum Leuchtturm gut möglich (dort ist OvernightParking verboten). An den Klippen kann man mit etwas Glück Puffins beobachten.

Petit aire de cc fort sympathique au calme et gratuit pour la nuit, en échange de consommations au bar ou au restaurant. Restaurant super agréable et des plats et desserts délicieux. Le personnel est adorable et bienveillant.

Brilliant wee stop over for the night. Free to park if you buy a meal in the hotel. We had a brilliant meal in the sea view and a peaceful nights sleep. It’s only 5 min walk into John o’groats pub and 5 mins drive from Duncansby stacks

Just had a beautiful meal , a lovely friendly staff , and nice quiet place to park .

Friendly staff at the hotel, small place to park but we went in for food and could camp for free. You can also go to the hotel for breakfast.

Great stop for an overnight stay in John O'Groats. Room for a few campers by the camping pods. We parked in the day carpark in town and walked up to check they had space and booked a table then drove there about 5pm. We had a fantastic meal in the pub. Nice atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and great food. The best Cullen skink so far! A lovely quiet night. Thank you for welcoming campervans.

Ottima nottata nel bellissimo John O Groats. Abbiamo bevuto un paio di birre al pub che offre posteggio ai camper e van.

Had a great stop next to the glamping pods across the road from the hotel. We got there early luckily as it got quite busy with around 4/5 vans. Popped into the pub for a drink as we had already eaten.

Thank you so much for letting us park our VW in the hotel car park overnight. We also enjoyed food and drink in the bar and restaurant. The fish was amazing thanks. The staff are helpful and the maintenance man at the bar was great to chat with. (Amazing stop)

Really good spot. Very friendly. We arrived too late for meals as they stop at 20:00 but had breakfast which was lovely. The staff were very accommodating. The toilets are available 24hrs

Très sympathique étape possibilité de se garer en face le parking est plan. le restaurant est très bon et avec le wifi car pas de réseau dans le secteur

Good spot to stay for a night. Bar and dining room warm and cosy even though outside was blustery. Car park not level but nothing too bad. A quiet night and we could see three lighthouses from this vantage point. Meals were good, beer was cold, toilets were clean.

Great spot to park overnight. Pub had a friendly atmosphere, great food and welcomed our dogs.

A great pub stop over. As mentioned excellent parking in a sheltered area. Bar was lovely with a varied menu and food we chose was delicious. Staff were brilliant and and very attentive. Very dog friendly. Would recommend to anyone.

Had meal and breakfast in Seaview, was lovely. Stayed overnight by the glamping pods and had a nice peaceful evening. Great spot

Guter Ort, nettes Personal, angenehme Übernachtung. Wir haben zu Abend und zum Frühstück gegessen. Es war interessant. Keine Services (Natürlich Toilette in der Wirtschaft) Wir können diesen Ort empfehlen

Absolutely lovely staff, super helpful and friendly. We stayed overnight in the carpark near the glamming pods. A very quiet night!

I got here after watching the sunset at the lighthouse, very friendly staff and locals had a good wee drink with them. were very happy to let me park up for the night. view of the sea and no need to rush off. if in the area again would definitely stop back here.

We stayed in the main parking at the hotel side. Enough places and with the door open we had a view on the Okney islands. Staff was very friendly though slightly confusing in their communication on where to park. Still not sure if this is where we were meant to stay especially after reading the other reviews here. All on all a good spot.

Friendly staff and very welcoming. I parked the van over the road which is flat and, as others have said very sheltered from the wind.. just what I needed.. Nice food and the recommended beer was good.. well worth a 5 star rating.!

As mentioned by others, the parking is opposite the Seaview Hotel by their glamping pods. It is quiet and flat. Great pub grub in the evening and full breakfast or just coffee in the morning. Well recommended.

Had a great nights stop over in our van, quiet spot over the road from the hotel in a private paring area, had a lovely meal in the bar and used the toilet facilities during our stay. Lovely friendly people.

Hemos parado aquí a cenar. la cena muy rica y les hemos preguntado si podíamos dormir aquí y nos han dejado dormir en un espacio en la caravana. Genial la atención del restaurante y el lugar para dormir tranquilo y sin ruidos.

They had no issues with us staying overnight on their carpark over the road, as it was out of season. Quiet spot protected from the wind. Had a couple of drinks and a light bite in the pub and used their toilet facilities too.

Didn’t find the staff overly friendly. Beer wasn’t great and food is one step up from army ration packs. Working mans club kinda feel but main stream pub prices Didn’t ask about overnight stops as I quite like the back end of my van and parking here would of left the back end of the van hanging off the main road and we’re only in a T6!

Car pack camping is only allowed out of season, when the main campsite at John O’Groats is closed. Nice bar for drinks/food though and nearby campsite is great, good showers and right by on the beach.
