A lovely hidden gem of a camping spot . Everything you need to make it special . From the beautiful surroundings to the river that runs alongside . Truly nature at its best . Not to mention the facility's there's everything you need . And the owners Barney and Charlotte who go above and beyond to make your stay . Bravo
Amazing little site. The owners are lovely and very accommodating. They allowed an overnight stay with my dog out of season (as my wife was on a spa break nearby) and the site was beautifully prepared with a fantastic toilet and amenity block using reclaimed materials. What a lovely relaxing place. Will definitely be back.
Stayed only for 1 night, and I wish I could stay for more. It's such an amazing, relaxing feeling the second you arrive. The river, the fields, and surrounding woods is all beautiful! facilities are amazing for campers, there is a kitchen for you to use with all appliances, as well as a huge communal barn set up with table tennis and foosball. Great place to hang . It really is one to visit!
Heaven is....Camp Plas. If You are looking for peace and tranquillity amidst beautiful surroundings, this is the place to be. With deliberately spaced out and limited pitches this eco friendly campsite is all about embracing nature around you leaving as little impact as possible. A must for those who embrace this ethos. Owners Charlotte and Barney are just lovely. 5* from us. Will be back.
Place of outstanding beauty, peaceful and quiet. Very pleasant couple who own the site and very welcoming. Seating area to gather outside under shelter, quirky set up for toilets and showers. Fully working kitchenette with fridge and freezer, also the option to buy a few things from the owners like cans of pop, eggs etc. The river is great for swimming, highly recommended and definitely worth visiting again.
