Great park up for the night. Quiet but felt safe. Handy to get into the town and there is a community centre at the end of the car park with toilets that is open all day till apx 9pm at night. Worth noting that we paid £13.30 to stay through the app as the pay and display machine only took pound coins.
Fine for a stopover. It's very central, there's people milling about until around midnight. Paid for the £11 or so for 24h, it can be used at any carpark in Scarborough monitored by the same company which is good
Perfect quiet spot. Not busy. One of the only camper friendly we could find in Scarborough. 4 mins drive from the front. Free parking 7pm-9am.
basic parking.. charges have increased, but finish at 6pm.. overall happy to stay overnight. no facilities but we'll located
Paid for 6 hours. It rolled over to next day. ie exempting the free time 6pm-9am. Paid for 24 hours and it did NOT exempt the free 6pm-9am. Park was ok though
Got here at around 11pm, as previous reviews say no motorhome bays so I tucked myself into a corner and overhung the space, no other campers/motorhomes when i got here but plenty of coaches and a couple cars, had a look on the RingGo app and it didn’t charge me for this carpark until 9am so I paid couple quid to have a lie in, no signs showing any restrictions at all and a few bins handy.
Unable to park in coach bays, no designated motorhome bays. car bays too small for anything other than a car. would not recommend.
Yes, we stayed here last night. Was OK, but just OK. Nothing great about it, other than it was close to town and seafront. £9.00 for 24hrs and no prohibition signs anywhere. Lots of kids and locals kicking off with each other early evening, but other than that a peaceful night.
Arrived here today car park still good to stay but price is now £9 for 24 hours
Surrounded by pubs and take aways.
