Hi, just a up date it's a layby, a bit noisy through the night with lorry's etc , but did the job , not seen a food van ??? but plenty of rubbish , toooo much to pick up sadly ,

militia11/07/2025As far as lay-bys go, it's nice and wide, it was fairly peaceful, road noise didn't bother me. Being set back from the road is always a bonus. Picnic benches have seen better days. The council should put a bin there.
bencarter4712/04/2025Some road noise until late but not much overnight. The layby is large so space for 4-6 vans I'd say. 4g signal very good too on O2. Nothing fancy but did us well for a night.

Great little spot off the main road with not much road noise. it has a few picnic benches. Unfortunately, there are no bin's so please take your rubbish away with you . can get 3 or 4 caravan or 6 MTHs

Arrived at about 7pm and there were a couple of other vans, another turned up later. It’s a great lay-by, felt very safe. However road noise was all night and quite loud, not a problem for me as I had ear plugs but annoyed my husband who didn’t. No view or anything but very a good stopover place.

A good night in this place in torrential rain. Nice to have the burger van for my partner to indulge the next morning. Traffic started from 6 am but didn’t actually keep us awake. Picnic tables to sit out the next morning in sunshine and grass for our three dogs.
lr02lee04/06/2023Great park up we stayed the night and no issues whatsoever. There are cars passing but didn’t wake me, the missus and daughter up. Few picnic benches too. Lay-by was clean so didn’t need to litter pick. Great stop if touring.
shell2301/06/2023Really nice spot. Sat back a little from the road so noise I didn't think was bad. There's little picnic benches and a food truck comes in the morning, there was some litter scattered around (not ours) we cleaned it up and took it along with our rubbish had a really nice peaceful sleep

Nice quiet layby set back from the road. Picnic tables and daffodils made it look nice. Not too much litter euther. Bit of traffic, it is on an A road, but overlooking fields with morning birdsong.

spent one night at the weekend. The odd car on the main road but otherwise it was quiet.
