*car park closed due to redevelopment of old hotel* Drive down narrow access road to Lee, when at the bay there is a long gravel car park that has no signage. It is surrounded by high hedge all the way around however the bay is beautiful.
Vodafone signal is negligible. There's a public toilet about 100 yards along the shortcut to the village, where you can get water. There's also a tap on the slipway.

Went to stay for the night (5th March 2024), the car park is now completely closed for the works being done to the old hotel.

  • 3/5

The long derelict hotel is now being redeveloped so the majority of the car park is fenced off. There are still a few places to park small vans. Toilets along the path are still open.

  • 4/5

Accès en effet étroit sur trois miles avec une pente à 20%. Hormis cela, une vue imprenable au réveil, parking plat, toilettes à une minute et gratuit. Recommande fortement.

This is our second time here, and it’s one of our favourite places. Beautiful little bay with 24hr toilets just up the lane behind the car park. Lots of room in the evenings and we were the only ones there. There is now a paddle board and kayak hire shop from one of the garages. Awesome place to stop.

  • 4/5

Great little overnighter, tight lanes to access, stunning little bay, car park quiet, quite alot of puddles, defo worth a stopover

  • 4/5

The car park isn’t amazing but toilet is 2 minute walk away and the bay is fantastic, quite a bit of litter when we arrived and lots of signs from locals complaining about amount of litter being left being so please use the bins near the roadside!

  • 4/5

Very hidden spot we arrived around 4:30pm and only one other van was there another arrived later on! Beautiful view and a toilet is around the corner it gets cleaned daily so it’s pretty decent, we walked to the local pub and had dinner then came back down for sunset on the beach would definitely visit again!

  • 5/5

great hidden treasure of Devon coast. We loved it. Although the road signs advised that we couldn't get there due to size, our 6m Luton van made it through! And there by August 23 there is plenty of space in the parking lot. Nearby public toilets. when low tide nice walk between the rocks

  • 4/5

Good nights stop! Difficult to find in the night and roads very narrow but quiet spot right next to the cove, toilets behind car park

  • 5/5

Great nights sleep and right next to the cutest little beach. Went for food at a pub round the corner called ‘The Grampus’ - great food!

  • 5/5

Absolute stunner of a park up. Tucked away on a little dirt road car park but a 20 metre walk to the most stunning bay. Perfect for swims and paddleboarding. About 4 vans stayed overnight. All perfectly quiet. Access roads are tight but should be ok for large vans. A hidden gem, look after this one!

  • 5/5

Sign at the top of the road warning of a 7'6" max so more of a campervan than motorhome stop. Also approach road 'features' a 1:5 section. However, as somewhere truly out the way with flat surface, well sheltered and with nearby (1 minute walk away) clean toilets this is a gem. Phone / internet signal is best described as 'If you're lucky". When leaving turn right out of the car park !

  • 4/5

Great spot quiet, not disturbed. Not much of a view though so it was just an overnight for us. Larger van will struggle as its not the biggest car park.

  • 5/5

Spot with 2/3 spaces overlooking beach just past cottages on the front

  • 5/5

Stayed 25/9/2022 Car park right near the sea, toilet block nearby that was ok for gents and ladies, zero phone signal on virgin (Vodafone) and Tesco (O2),a few puddles in car park and narrow lanes are the only downside.

  • 5/5

What a lovely spot we parked our motorhome at the end.

  • 4/5

Great free parking spot. Woke up to a lovely view of the sea. Was a bit nervous about trying it as we went in the summer holidays on bank holiday weekend but even with approx 8 other vans it felt there was plenty of room, everyone was quiet when we got there about 930pm. Only this is it is VERY narrow getting to it, deff single track, few places to pass so coming down in the dark isn’t much fun!

  • 4/5

Stayed here once in summer and once in winter so far…lovely secluded spot! Note that the toilets are closed during winter so come prepared!

  • 3/5

Winter van life…. It’s cold! As so close to the water edge the wind comes in making the van shake bad. Doesn’t help we have a draft somewhere but was too cold to stop for the night. No phone signal at all on either O2 and vodaphone.. bare in mind. Some houses 1 min walk away if really stuck and need help. Short walk to a very posh pub who are very Covid alert. Would stay again in summer! For sure

  • 1/5

Do not stay if more than 2/3 other vans. Have been coming here a lot in the past year, however, stayed the weekend and over ten vans turned up. Someone came with an ACTUAL caravan and stayed. Whilst a middle aged couple played extremely loud music, got drunk and did (you can guess what) loudly all night. So so disrespectful. This place is on the verge of being unobtainable down to people like this

  • 5/5

We chose this spot as our first ever night out in our van, very quiet car park with great toilet facilities a minute away. Great views and fantastic early morning beach walk. Nice pop up coffee shop on the edge of the car park in the morning. Took the wrong turning and came down a really narrow road in the night so choose your route carefully.

  • 4/5

Lovely little village, limited spaces. Be wary anything bigger than a MWB van on the Warcombe lane heading southwest out of Lee is super tight! (for motorhomes, impossible).

  • 4/5

Amazing scenery and walks, but today it was rammed!! Just about got a space but didn’t stay

  • 5/5

Brilliant spot, our favourite park for night so far. simple car park with space for 10 or so campers and a lovely clean public toilet around the corner. Nice view just metres away.

  • 5/5

The parking is off from the main road with the beach and phenomenal views only meters away. Was a perfect park up for one night! Narrow access lanes but just about managed in a Crafter.

  • 5/5

Nice and quiet all night i wish i could stayed more days here toilet is clean nice place

  • 5/5

Bea utiful little village, super quiet, no problems parking for the night would definitely recommend. very small road in, but we were fine in a VW crafter....however don't miss the carpark as turning round to come back to it proved a challenge. Bring all the supplies you need as there isn't anything here but a lovely beach and some houses.

  • 5/5

Secluded car park, quiet all night, free and no signs to say parking overnight is prohibited. Even better, toilets behind car park are open all night and the beautiful bay is 2 seconds walk. Be aware, small roads to get there but we managers in a lwb transit.

  • 5/5

I think this is the best car park I’ll ever sleep in off the back off this app. Lovely, quiet, beautiful sunsets, no other cars, insanely quiet, immaculately clean public toilets. I can’t recommend this one enough.

  • 5/5

Stopped here as lockdown was ending (pubs allowed to open outside only). Very quiet, clean public toilet, beautiful Bay and close to pub.

  • 4/5

Lovely quiet spot, no view from van but a few steps to the bay. Had good food at the local pub. Nice walk at low tide along beach and along cliffs to Bull Point Lighthouse. Will return :)

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet, scenic spot and very safe place to spend the night. Road access is very steep and very narrow single track in and out, so not suitable for larger mobile homes. Except for the exceptionally clean public loo, 1 minute walk from the carpark, small craft shop/cafe (11am-4pm) and a great pub, there is nothing else in the village, so takes supplies.

  • 5/5

Great place, though quite a few cars going in and out and a van at 1am slamming doors, but gorgeous bay. I've added quite a few pictures too.
