As you drive in there’s a sign saying no overnight camping. But once you scan the qr code / pay at base then you can stay overnight . Showers are clean if you can buy tokens as they don’t have enough for demand.

Flat and level in the main car park, slightly slopes at one end. You pay to camp at reception or there is a QR code to scan in the car park. Great location for a mountain bike.

Fantastic place for an overnight, the facilities were fantastic and I was lucky to meet the lovely lady who keeps these toilets immaculate. Cheery and bubbly first thing in the morning. Showers were spotless and plenty of hot water. There was no signs for a £17 charge, we paid £5.50 to park from 18.00 to 12.00 next day.

BG217/07/2025Wir haben beim Kiosk gefragt: übernachten ist für 17£ möglich, Strom kostet 8£ extra. Die Plätze sind im hinteren Teil vom Parkplatz und teilweise uneben. Super Ausgangspunkt zum Biken oder für Wanderungen.

bien pour les vidanges sauf eau grises à vider au seau. Eau potable gratuite toilettes et douches payantes propres. beaucoup d'mplacements je suppose payants car nous ne sommes pas restés.
vsmh0507/07/2025It is a bit confusing as there is a clear sign as you drive in stating no overnight parking/camping, but then providing EHU seems like an overnight thing. Anyway, I stayed 2 nights, no one bothered me, it's quiet, plenty of dog walks, a playground for kids and obviously the bike trails and a coal mine museum. Really nice find, and so unusual to find emptying facilities which can be used for free.

Fab place with toilets, showers, washing up facilities, grey & black waste disposal. Parking free between 9pm-8am & only £3:75 per day. Lovely lady said they really want more people to start using it. Highly recommended.

Report to the restaurant on the right of the entrance. The site offers camping for motorhomes of all sizes in the back of the carpark. Unfortunately not very level but you can make it work. Surroundings are ideal for mountain biking, hiking and dog walking. Food amazing and facilities clean. We stayed 2 nights. Will come again

Toilette entleeren und Grauwasser funktioniert, allerdings gibt es nur einen Wasserhahn direkt neben der Kasettenentleerung. Steht auch nirgends was von Trinkwasser. Haben deshalb entschieden, dort kein Wasser aufzufüllen, wo man auch die Kassette ausspült.

mescal3109/08/2024Visitor Centre n'est plus en activité. Vidange WC OK, et remplissage eau propre OK. Par contre vidange eaux grises non accessible par le véhicule : il faut un tuyau ou une gouttière ou un réservoir mobile... Ça a tout de même le mérite d'exister. Il est cependant mentionné à l'entrée que le parking ou camping de nuit sont interdits.

Merci merci. C'est magnifique ! Pour 1£ de stationnement nous avons pu vider les WC du camping-car, faire le plein d'eau etc etc et c'est super propre. Après 18h le stationnement est gratuit. On aurait pu y dormir.

Fab place to stay, nice clean toilets & showers. Showers are £1.50 for 5 mins & we’re lovely & hot, get a token from the Bike Shop on site. Parking is free overnight from 6pm-8am & just £2.50 for 4 hours or £3.50 all day. Also chemical & water waste facilities & a free water fill up tap available. Great place & should be more of these across the country, it was like staying in an Aire in France a great set up.

grande parcheggio con tutti i servizi di un campeggio. Dalle 18 alle 8 non si paga, altrimenti 3,50 sterline al giorno. Vari sentieri per passeggiate trail per biciclette. Purtroppo il museo della storia delle miniere gallesi è chiuso la domenica e il lunedì. La strada non è trafficata la notte.

paid £1 for an hour parking. emptied toilet, filled up water and had a shower. shower is £1.50 per token at the bike shed which lasts 5 minutes. Great pit stop.

Die Straße ist nachts wenig befahren, aber hörbar. Bezahlen nur zw. 10 und 18 Uhr im Café. Der Parkautomat wollte nicht. Gute Infrastruktur mit Müll, Toilette und Dusche. Ebene Plätze.

nous avons dormis 2 nuit sur se jolie parking. Le centre touristique était fermé mais le bike shop nous as dis de payer le parking normalement. les toilette sont super propre ainsi que le lieux en lui même. il y as des poubelle de trie et un robinet d eau au gauche des WC. idéal pour pour rouler au bike park Afan gratuit et de tous niveaun oublier pas de nourrir l écureuil gris vous êtes chez lui

Nice and quiet when we arrived, the Mountain biking shop and cafe were just closing and very friendly. Pay and display but the charges only apply between 08:00 - 18:00 so arrive later and leave earlier. Showers are closed due to cv19, toilets available but locked at around 5

You have to pay £5 for overnight parking in cafe. £1.50 for shower BUT CLOSED DUE TO C19. Lovely spot.

Sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wir waren sogar 2 Nächte hier. Großzügige Duschen. Kosten: ganzer Tag 3,50£ (pay & Display). Über Nacht 5£, Anmeldung im Visitor Centre. Biken: Es gibt auch eine Rookie/Family-Tour. Auf unserer Route bisher der schönste Bike Trail (Y-Wal).

Visitor centre is open 0930 to 1600 for shower tokens. 1 token = 5 minutes of water. Well maintained and clean. Midges are seasonal; we've had no such problems in August.

Perfect for the MTB trails and hiking. £5 per 24hours so buy a ticket from café if you want to camp and it covers your carpark costs and camping. £1.50 for a shower token. clean showers and toilets. quite a lot of midge's at dusk so keep your fly screens closed and we would recommend insect repellent and candles are a must.
