The actual car park is about 300 metres further up the road. Small parking area and you can get a fairly level area. 1 other car overnight and plenty of dog walkers and runners the next morning, all friendly. Great views all around and would have been better if it was sunny. No signs.
Visited 4,8,21 very quiet, local dog walkers come and go, great dog walks and bins around. personally couldnt ask for more. couple with 3 dogs in selfbuild iveco
Its a great view, flooded with light and lots of space. Nice walk to Devizes horse. No signs banning vans. No facilities. But it was also clearly busy spot for locals. When we stayed (admittedly Easter Weekend after lockdown lifting)night teen car gatherings (felt a bit uncomfortable) and dog walkers and trail bikers in morning. Probably the other car park by Devizes horse is quieter
Effectivement, c'est très bien sauf. Peut être le samedi soir. 4 voitures sont arrivées. pas de problème particulier, elles sont parties au bout de 30 mn, toute sauf une, qui a laissé son moteur tourner avec la musique en sourdine mais les basses à fond. Au bout 1h30 (il était 1h du matin) on est reparti voir ailleurs. Bon endroit mais pas le samedi soir !
Pour une halte du midi et pourquoi pas du soir, arrêt très sympathique avec une superbe vue. Même en pleine semaine, cette impasse accueille pas mal de voitures pour une halte ou une balade. Le point GPS n'est pas trop précis mais en montant un peu, on arrive à son but. Pas plus de 3 camping-cars
