Very quiet spot with only 2 cars passing between 6pm and 8am: it was January so no holiday traffic. Saw magical sunrise and sunset from beach. As mentioned by others ground has been churned up over years so finding a level spot is possible but after rain ground will be very soft so chose your time carefully.

I find the other comments extremely underwhelming! I stumbled across this spot by accident and it turned out to be the best spot I’ve ever stayed at! Ok, it’s a little uneven but even in my 7.5T lorry, I could get myself level enough! Had maybe 3/4 cars pass during the night, with one stopping around 2300 but no issues! The beach is a piece of heaven imo! There’s no one around! Pure bliss!

Perfect! Had a beautiful day at the beach and coffee with feet in the sand. Just 20m away. Please clean up after. Just one car past at around 6 in the morning, honked and threw out trash from his window. Probably the local weirdo

spent a very peaceful night here - probably only 3 cars passed all night. the slope down to the beach is steep but easy enough, and takes two minutes, never camped so close to a beach before! lots of birdsong in the evening and morning, a very gentle start to the day. strongly recommend!

pretty good! there were already 2 vans parked there when we arrived, but further space further up the road, although we could get too far off the road. super quiet and no issues during our stay :) nice and close to new forest

Very muddy and too slopey at this spot, but as someone else said there was a spot just up the road for a very quiet sleep!

  • 3/5

Muddy as hell!!! Got van stuck! Parking looks ok it’s just a lay-by really on a slope, maybe best for summer months

The site listed was occupied and very muddy, but we pulled into another small passing place about 150m on and spent a very peaceful night. Almost no cars overnight, and only very few on the weekday morning. A dog walk, quick swim, and free open-air cold water shower down at Lepe the next morning. Didn’t use the cafe but it looked nice.

What a cracking spot . Stayed last night and it was absolutely silent from 5pm until lunchtime next day . Brilliant spot right next to a little path to a coastline overlooking isle of white

Uneven and muddy. Not ideal, imo. Pub (Turfcutter's) up the road is a better bet.
