Cafe over the road for the holiday park so you can buy things and there’s a toilet. Little shop 2 mins up the road. There is a patch of road up hill that is single track we fit in our LWB but my husband is a very good driver, not sure id have held my nerve
A great place to stop over. Very quiet and peaceful with the sounds of the birds keeping you company.

Loads of room and pretty much level if you get the right spots. Directions took us straight to the correct spot, lovely cafe right next door.
Like another commenter, we were a bit sceptical at first. We arrived around 4.30pm and there was still a few cars parked there. My husband popped across to the building on the other side of the road, bought some snacks from the cafe
Such a great spot. Super quiet, dark, lots of nature around. Level and lots of space
A nice park-up(ish) it's extremely dark under the trees , not very level may be lovely in sunny weather, but a bit grim otherwise
Great little spot in the forest. Plenty of walks and cycle trails from here. Nice and quiet. Will certainly be back here again.

Lovely stop and a great walk to Symonds Yat with trails to other places. Visitors Centre with friendly staff, food, gifts, cafe and toilets. Busy in hols, dog walkers paradise.
Using Google maps it took us through some very narrow roads, but we managed it with a 6.5 m van. The parkup is next to the beautiful Forest of Dean, Forest Resort and campsite.
Not bad but fairly busy and patchy signal on Three and Vodafone.
Stayed 20-04-24 arrived around 4pm was sceptical at first, all was sweet. Loverly walk in the adjoining woods. Internet is intermittent but the petrol station round the corner has good internet so we drove there to download films on the phone to watch
Lovely spot! We parked by the entrance of the path but still was very quiet. The cafe at the Forest Resort on the other side of the road (just cross the road) has great strong coffee! Toilets were nice too.
Was perfect, very quiet, safe, woodland area, nice walks close by, used the little shop in the forest holidays resort. Also has an outside tap for cleaning boots etc. Would highly recommend.
Great spot! Enough space for lots of vehicles in a wooded area that is mostly level. Very easy to find if you follow the Google map link or search 'Forest Holiday Forest of Dean' there's a cafe.
