Nice spot but the chinock chopper is a bit noisy.
Endroit idéal pour se garer et pique-niquer. Nous n'avons pas passé la nuit mais n'avons vu aucune preuve contre cela. Environ 4-5 kilomètres de route à voie unique pour arriver ici. La réception du réseau téléphonique est temporaire, parfois oui et parfois non.
Perfect place to park and have a picnic. We didn't spend the night but saw no evidence against it. About 4-5 kilometers of single lane road to get here. Telephone network reception is temporary, sometimes yes and sometimes no.
Perfekter Ort zum Parken und für ein Picknick. Wir verbrachten die Nacht nicht, sahen aber keine Anzeichen dagegen. Etwa 4-5 Kilometer einspurige Strasse um hierher zu kommen. Telefonnetz Empfang ist temporär, manchmal ja und manchmal nein.

Dennis1424/07/20252 to 3 spots next to the road are fairly level. 1 big spot or 3 small campers can park just of the road, any camper can get there as i did with a Transit. And there are about 5 spots even deeper in he woods only accesable for 4x4's. total is around 10 spots. No spot is really level so only 4 stars. After about 2100 no more dogwalkers and it becomes really quiet here.

Der platzt ist schön und schattig. Die Fläche oben ist allerdings kein Parkplatz was wir erfahren haben nachdem uns mehrere einheimische darauf angesprochen haben. Sehr ruig bis auf Hundebesitzer im morgen.

We really like it here. Stayed last night. Some dog walkers came in the morning. Overall feels very safe and quiet and lovely countryside. Definitely not spaces for 10…more like 3 vans. Some potholes but we didn’t have trouble bringing our ford transit in. Not too many spaces that are level
cathy52225/02/2025sadly I couldn't get my motorhome, 6m on a ford transit base, up without bottoming it, so I gave up. the single lane all the way up was no problem.

Amazing spot, one of the best I've stayed at. Very quiet at night, decent enough signal, and stunning views for miles around - just loads of well maintained farmland. Keep it clean so it stays that way!

Endroit très calme à l'abri du bois assez dense et au bord des champs, parfait pour une dernière nuit avant d'aller à Douvres pour un ferry en début d'après-midi le lendemain. La faune est assez active au petit matin entre écureuils et faisans d'élevage.

Kleines Update: 1. es gibt etwa 1 bis max. 3 Plätze, die für ein Wohnmobil ausreichen und NICHT 10 Plätze. 2. es hat viele Schlaglöcher und es ist allgemein sehr uneben. 3. die Strasse, die hierher führt ist einspurig für 4-5 Kilometer. Ps. Die Nacht war ruhig, bis auf zwei Helikopter Flüge und ein Bauer, der um 23:00 gedacht hat jetzt wäre ein guter Zeitpunkt um seine Hecke zu schneiden.

Arrived here for on Sunday evening to a few very pleasant and welcoming dog walkers. Went for a long run through the hills and woodland right next to the spot. Beautiful place, very quiet night and 0 problems apart from finding a small leak in the roof ? 10/10 aside from the road in being fairly tight.

We arrived late at night so had to believe the reviews. in the morning we had a great surprise. the spot was really quiet at night, no one else than us stayed overnight. some cars arrived in the morning. nice walk to do in in the woodlands!
