you cannot sleep in this car park you can park overnight but there are clear signs saying no sleeping.
J'ai séjourné ici avec notre T3. J'ai passé la soirée dans les pubs du village, puis passé une nuit paisible garée près de la fromagerie. Assez le matin, occupé vers 22h30. Conseillé.
Stayed here with our T3. Spent evening in the village pubs and then spent peaceful night parked by the Cheese Shop. Quite in morning, busy bu about 10.30pm. Recommended.
Ich war hier mit unserem T3. Verbrachte den Abend in den Pubs des Dorfes und verbrachte dann eine friedliche Nacht im Cheese Shop. Ganz morgens, gegen 22.30 Uhr beschäftigt. Empfohlen.

Rubyflipper21/08/2025We stayed here for two nights . The car park allows you to stay overnight for £1.20 ! Yes that right ! Lovely village and perfect for walking and bike rides. We did the Tissington and High Peak Trail. Very quiet at night and level. Would stay here again , but there isn’t a good Wi-Fi signal so take cash for the machine .

Stayed in a pay and display car park about 200metres away, no other cars there, toilets 100 yards away, litter bins all for £1 between 6pm and 8pm, what more do you want!

stayed by the pond, lovely little village. public toilets have open/closed times but we found they weren't locked at night. bonus!
simonp4ni978713/01/2025Perfect little place for a stopover. Parked right by the pond. Absolutely silent overnight and not a person around. Excellent 4G coverage. The pub over the road is great for food and the cheese shop is great for cheese!

Lovely village to stay in with 2 pubs, cheese shop and cafes. Parked by the pond. Public toilet round the corner. Space for 4 or 5 vans - no parking restrictions where we stayed but check the road for restrictions Good Friday to 30th Sept

The postcode given doesn't take you to Dig Street but another road. There is nowhere suitable on the postcode road to stop.
