Secluded large laybye, trees on one side, bushes and fields the otherside. No facilities bit there is a food wagon on site during the weekday, not sure about weekends. used by wagons overnight and the odd dogging vehicle or 2. Very quiet, A6006 close by but not too busy between 16:30 and 08:00.

This post code seems incorrect. Google Maps shows it as a lay-by near Old Dalby, which is around 7 miles from Melton Mowbray. It could be a decent enough park-up. Certainly not a 4-5 minute walk away from the town. Stanley Street, Melton Mowbray appears to be a small industrial parking area, which may be ok but would be LE13 1PE post code. Admin may need to amend this listing, please.
We were going to park here 25/09/20 for the night but was quite busy at 13.00, so decided on Kings Head car park instead. Anyway, this is a great free spot, quiet and only 5 mins walk into town centre.
