(NG10 2FY) Trent Lock Carpark

Stayed here twice. Quiet and safe spot. We’ve preferred the larger carpark but there is a 2m barrier. Trent Lock pub is great too. Good food, fires, dog friendly and nice beer. What else do you need!

We stopped in this car park for our first adventure.. it was an excellent late decision, we got there just before last food orders so we were really hungry. The food was brilliant the staff were great, dog friendly and a nice beer to be had. Safe and sound for the night.. ideal dog walk around the canals in the morning.. bacon cob to take away.. lovely lovely we will be back.

Unfortunately woken up at 5am to a bird sounding alarm clearly hinting for me to move on.

I stayed here for the first time last night. The public toilets were not in use, and the pub's car park was completely submerged due to the river being in flood. Despite this, the food at the Trent Lock was excellent and the staff were very friendly. A few other vans also stayed last night and there was no trouble or noise whatsoever, apart from the odd car driving away as the pub was closing.

So I stayed here on a Friday 7/7/23 I had a wonderful time I called up the night before they don’t take booking it is first come first serve they just ask you to eat and have a drink and leave a review on trip advisor of your experience, the staff were all lovely and the place is stunning, lovely walks great views on the canal can go paddle boarding, foood was also lovely x will be bk xx

Nice flat carpark . Other vans were there lovely walks but food in the pub was quite expensive

Stayed for one night with my son, near 3 pubs which were very welcoming, lovely walks along the canal. Toilet block which was locked after about 6pm although if require disabled access and have radar key disabled toilet available all night. Plenty of parking and free. Would definitely use again.

Stayed 1 night, flat car park with a few spaces for vans (although pretty tight with all the cars from people at the pub) Noisy at kick out time but good amenities and only a short walk from the canal.

stayed one night. lots of spaces available day and night. very level and very quiet. 300mbps 5G EE. lovely little lock and river.

Super night spent here. Had a drink and desert in the welcoming pub. Public toilets opened at 8pm, clean and bins close by. Walks and area lovely. We’ve along van and parked across several spaces and had no issues down the long road. Lovely walks and locks/ river really interesting. Great place, will be back to enjoy the open fire in the Trent Lock.

A great spot to pull up overnight. Arrived about 10:30pm and two other vans parked just outside the car park. Quiet throughout the night - would stay here again!

Great spot, stayed for a couple of quiet nights. The pub is rather overpriced but nice. Not for larger vehicles, watch the low trees on the road coming in if your vehicle is high.

Very peaceful Thursday night with another van, spaces a little short for our LWB van but sticking out between the potted trees worked for us.

Stayed last night and very quiet a few other vans on. Two pubs brilliantly next door. Toilets and floodlit too. Amazing 20km walk done down the river to the Attenborough wildlife reserve then followed canal back

2 great pubs within 150 meters of car park. Lovely place, with canal and river walks. Fairly tidy but mostly cigarettes picked up and binned. Plenty spaces. Quiet at night.

A nice quiet location, close to the river and a couple of pubs. The Trent Lock pub is a tad expensive though.
