Great spot, if a little noisy due to road next to it. Ideal if you have a low (<2.1m) van, as there is a barriered section that is set further back from the road. Bins and 24hr toilet. Great if heading south.

We didn’t stay overnight because we didn’t feel safe. There are toilets though 24/7 but overall the place is full of rubbish and unmaintained.

I was 3cm too tall with the roofbox to fit under the 2m barrier to the top area where I would have liked to be and would have happily stayed the night. Didn’t feel ‘right’ on the lower road, stayed long enough to cook myself dinner and use the toilets - massively surprise! With the parking area being so overgrown & rundown I was expecting the same of the toilets but sparkly clean & red hot water!

Nice place to stop, has toilets. no bother at all. pretty noisy with vehicles going past all night.

stayed 1 night wad pretty quiet but there are 2 autocaravans with rubbish outside them looks like people live in them wouldn't feel safe staying by myself

Stayed here 04/07/22. OK stopover for a night, toilet was open all night and reasonably clean. Plenty of space to walk the dog. Shame it's been left overgrow as could be a nicer area. Upper and further parking has a 2m height restriction, lower parking there is none. There was road noise most of the night

thepeckishadventures21/09/2020Good spot, toilets open 24h, lots of bins on the car park, water tap in lady toilets (men broken). Short walk to the sea front with a pub and cost cutter shop.spend One night there no problem .

Surprisingly the toilets were spotless!!! Road noise when busy and some trucks stopping/starting. Police show face just to check the area but no problems.
