Stayed there last night, behind the petrol station. they have now implemented a parking charge of £24 for the night. It is better to pay before bedding down and display the ticket or risk an early wake-up call. When I arrived, just after midnight, there were lots of trucks stopping for fuel. However, it tailed off after 1am. I had a reasonable nights sleep.
£2 for 8 minute shower. Really clean in woman’s one. My partner said the men’s weren’t too bad
Es ist sehr laut, aber ich war müde und wollte nicht mehr weiter fahren. Um ca. 8 Uhr am Abend kann ein Security und sagte mir ich muss im Shop 26 £ bezahlen, wenn ich über Nacht parken will. Für nichts außer viel Lärm ist das viel zu teuer. ich bin 2,6 ml weiter Richtung Osten gefahren und habe einen guten Platz gefunden.
This is not the scotch corner services, but you leave the a1m at the scotch corner turn off. Continue around the roundabout and exit at the A66. The layby is just on the left shortly after exiting the roundabout
