Stopped here for a cup of tea but decided to move on up the road after a car pulled in and checked us out. Potentially a local farmer, he never spoke to us but certainly didn't look happy that we were there.
A nice little spot. Not just another lay-by, it is quite shielded and out of sight (ish). A few cars passed during the night, the road got busier in the morning. We spent the night undisturbed. Nice to be off the road, set back a little. No signal. A decent sized area. Lovely views. Quiet and peaceful, only heard sheep overnight, in the distance. No signage at all. Would definitely recommend!
Lovely location and road was fairly quiet,just a few passing cars. Good space for 3 vans without feeling too close. The patch itself isn’t the most attractive but lovely views and great location for nearby walks
Good little spot to stop for a night. Flat pitch no height redirections or facilities. Enough space for three vehicles if parked correctly. No clear signage for it so you would need to keep an eye out. Would stay again.
