Bel espace de stationnement avec une vue imprenable. Passez une nuit tranquille là-bas. Nous avons eu la visite matinale de quelques vaches. Cependant, l’approche n’est pas sans, la plupart du temps il s’agit d’une voie (le véhicule ne doit pas dépasser 2 m)
Nice parking space with a breathtaking view. Have a quiet night spent there. Had morning visit from a few cows. However, the approach is not without, most of the time it is one-lane (vehicle should not be wider than 2m)
Schöner Stellplatz mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Haben eine ruhige Nacht dort verbracht. Hatten morgens Besuch von ein paar Kühen. Allerdings ist die Anfahrt nicht ohne, die meiste Zeit ist es einspurig (Fahrzeug sollte nicht breiter als 2m sein)

AVOID! Even on a Tuesday! Wonderful view, but the teenagers spoil it immensely. They have no respect or consideration for anyone, zoom around on motorbikes & cars all over the grass. They lit a fire & were spraying deodorant on it.
I couldn't let my cat or dog out because they were terrified of all the noise and probably would have been squashed by the menaces that shouldn't be allowed to drive!
A lovely spot but the kids in their cars really ruin the vibe. They’re harmless but revving and honking isn’t my ideal sunset soundtrack. Thought it would be quiet on a Sunday! Stayed for sunset then moved on.
Didn’t see the comments further down but came on a Friday night and 4 cars full of teenagers showed up, lighting fireworks and overheard them threatening to shake the van so didn’t stay! Shame because the view is lovely.
Stayed here last night. If it wasn’t for the weather it would have been perfect. Monday night, the young lads did turn up, but didn’t stay long. Good reception on 3 mobile.
Stayed here 9/8/24 and had a great nights sleep. We were one of only two campers. There were a few cars coming and going until around 12am but not overly loud or causing a nuisance. Quite a few people turned up in the morning going for walks etc but again no issues. Fantastic view and would definitely stop here again!
Amazing spot, yeah, teenagers sat about until late. They didn't bother us though, had chairs out and watched the sunset after watching a bunch of parogliderers setting off from up the road. Sat and was surrounded by friendly cows. lovely walk to the visitors centre and castle
Quiet and was not disturbed- we stayed on a Sunday evening. Views were amazing in the morning, surrounded by sheep. Public footpaths for walking close by.
Clearly a well-known spot as other comments indicate. We arrived around 7:30pm, with two cars parked but it was quiet. Flat with enough space, so no need to park parallel to the road. It was just us in our campervan by 9pm and no more traffic until sunrise. One star off - didn’t see any trash bins.
Yeah, Friday nights are definitely to be avoided. This is clearly a major hotspot for teenagers in their lowered cars with oversized exhausts.. lots of revving and racing, a bit of loud music and just a huge gathering of about 11 full cars. I’m too tired to leave, so defiantly sticking it out. To be honest they have left me alone, so it could be worse!!
great view. cars till late with lights on and teenagers using it like a drag strip. avoid in a Friday night. been here a few times before and it's lovely
We stayed on a Saturday night: lovely views, peaceful spot in the morning and lots of space for parking. However, when we arrived there was noise and comings and goings from about 10.30-12. Car sat with lights and engine on… (dogging?) and teenagers sitting blasting music in cars. Good spot once they were gone….
stopped over here last night (30/10/2022), arrived teatime and a few cars about but plenty of space for us to get in.
like others have said the local youth in there cars also seem to like this spot. not to bad a nights sleep in-between cars arriving and roaring off. went quiet about 3am in the morning.
picked up the litter left by local youths so that campers didn't get the blame.

Nothing less than perfect. Stayed here one night and wow it’s just amazing. Cows almost had my wiper blade but other than that a successful overnighter. I recommend this highly!
Wir hatten auch abends Besuch von Jugendlichen, was aber gar nicht gestört hat weil diese weg waren als wir schlafen gingen.
Morgens kamen auch bei uns die Kühe vorbei. es ist schön anzusehen, aber man muss auch ein bisschen acht auf seinen Bulli geben. die Kühe Schubbern sich teilweise stark daran.
Wirklich ein sehr schöner Ort.
Uns beglückten die Jugendlichen von 00:00 bis 01:00 Uhr mit ihrer Musik und lautem Motorgejaule. Danach war es aber ruhig bis wir gegen 8 Uhr von den kratzenden Kühen geweckt wurden.
You can’t beat the view here! Sunset over the mountains on a clear day is breathtaking. A little noisy between 7-10pm with cars coming and going and lads playing football but once it’s quiet it’s lovely. We had the best sleep we’ve ever had in the van here.
Gorgeous spot with an amazing view to wake up to. Few youths playing music with 5 or 6 cars coming and going but quiet from about 11pm. Had the place opposite the church to ourselves in the morning with great walks for the dog
Really great spot with an amazing view. parking space opposite the church for probably half a dozen vans, though there was no one else here when we stayed. A bit of activity with the local youth till about 11pm but after that it was dead quiet. occasional vehicle drove by and some early runners and dog walkers.
I’ve rarely seen prettier sunrise over sheeps and snowy mountains. Quiet between 10pm and 7am however definitely popular for roadsmen’s coffee and doggers’ night. Everyone friendly though, plenty of space to be and let be.
Brilliant view! The other comments weren't kidding about the cows! They came for a scratch on the van in the morning but certainly no bother! Was quite cool to wake up to tbh. Couple of younger folk in their cars but music wasn't loud and they weren't being silly so absolutely no problems. Space for a few large vans and no problem spending the day there.

Loads of roadmen on arrival so moved to the spot down the road which was nice but not as stunning views. Put an alarm on for sunrise to come back to this spot though as it is so so beautiful. Got woke up later by some cows saying hello. Amazing.
Was great until about 9pm when it was ruined by masses of teenagers in several cars who surrounded our van, revving their engines, shouting etc. We left at 10.30 for the spot down the road to find some peace.
Lovely elevated overnight parking. great for walkers and watching the sun go down. A few kids coming and going between 8pm and 10:30pm who had left all there pizza boxes when we got up in the morning. would not put me off coming here again
