Great location for an overnight stop and to visit the memorial in the evening. Also nice cycling from there the following morning to visit some other memorials. Very peaceful.

stayed here on the 14th July. Awesome location. very quiet at night. Visit the Animal Memorial just outside of Pozieres, some of the words on the plaques hit home the most. No facilities, so you need your own. Take some tinned fish or cat food to feed the 6 young cats that appear from the woods. Thanks for letting us stay here. Please be respectful and keep it tidy.

Très chouette spot, grand parking quasiment plat à côté du Memorial de Thiepval, route très peu passante le soir. 5 chats sauvages magnifiques mais affamés sont sortis de la forêt ou ils vivent, nos réserves de boîtes de thon ont été largement entamées mais quel plaisir de les voir se régaler. Ils étaient également assoiffés donc pensez à leur donner un peu à manger et de l'eau ;-)

Très pratique pour visiter le musée (émouvant et incontournable). Super calme la nuit. Stationnement Autorisé par le musée.

we spent 2 nights here this week, really friendly staff in the museum no issue with parking. really quiet and peaceful both nights and got to see the memorial in the dark.

Had a lovely, quiet night after visiting the museum and monument. no service, but clean, quiet and flat.

A fantastic location, no services but very quiet and peaceful. Wanted to see the monument lit up at night but unfortunately rain stopped play. The museum is fantastic and well worth a visit. We did have two lovely (and hungry) little feline visitors . Ended up staying 2 nights in order to visit other war cemeteries. In the area. Would definitely recommend

Man steht auf dem Parkplatz vom Museum, sehr gerade und nachts ruhig. Memorial und Museum unbedingt ansehen. Es gibt viel Natur, um mit dem Hund zu gehen.

Bel endroit sympa en pleine nature. Parking du mémorial à laisser propre. Sans services sauf recharge vélo électrique

Very quiet and dark night by ourselves. Large bins up the ramp towards the memorial garden. The museum and memorial are both worth a visit.

Super quiet and provided a wonderful opportunity to see the memorial lit up at night.

Il parcheggio è a pochi metri dall’ingresso del museo e del Memoriale. Non vi sono dei posteggi riservati ai camper per cui è necessario posteggiare avendo presente che anche altri dovranno usufruire del parcheggio. Vi ho trascorso una notte, tranquilla e silenziosa. Essendo un parcheggio non vi è possibilità di carico e scarico. Ma ci stà. Consigliato.

Stayed the 13/09 for one night. Asked permission in the visitor centre. So peaceful and quiet. The monument is worth seeing lit up on a night. Work crew arrived around 7am to cut the grass, etc.

A very peaceful night! We asked for permission to stay at the museum (although I don’t think you need to). We parked in the coach area. No services (toilets in the museum when open). Highly recommended an evening walk around the memorial.

Perfect parking to see the many monuments and museum (€6 each). We parked in the last bus space under the trees. Asked at museum if it was ok and they said yes as it was quiet during this time of year. We had 2 very quiet nights. Big bins up beside the picnic tables. No services.

Spent a quiet night. Bring catfood! I was visited by a very hungry little cat.

Nice quiet location in the free car park next to Theipval memorial and close to the Somme battlefield sites. Short walk down to Ulster Tower and cafe. Had a peaceful night but be aware that youths drive through the car park at night but they were no trouble.

Endroit très joli nous nous sommes installés vers 19h pour visiter le musée le lendemain et malheureusement nous avons été obligé de partir vers minuit à cause de projectile de courgettes sur le camping car. Des gens s'ennuient le samedi soir.....!!

Bava 85 23 Août Nuit très calme en pleine campagne, après demande auprès du personnel du musée, très gentil et agréable. Aucun service sur place. Trois autres campings car sont venus nous rejoindre le soir.
