Parking public gratuit juste après/avant la frontière P-E et la limite du parc national de Penela-Gerês. Il peut être plein en journée, mais vide la nuit… parfait pour la nuit. Une poubelle de recyclage est à votre disposition !
Free public P just after/before the border P-E and limit of Penela-Gerês National Park. During the day it could be full, the night it is empty... perfect for the night. There is a recycle bin, pleas use it!
Kostenloser öffentlicher Parkplatz direkt hinter/vor der Grenze zwischen P und E und dem Nationalpark Penela-Gerês. Tagsüber kann er voll sein, nachts ist er leer – perfekt für die Nacht. Es gibt einen Recyclingbehälter, bitte benutzen!
Aparcamiento gratuito justo antes y antes del Parque Nacional. Durante el día, podría estar lleno, la noche está vacía ... perfecto para la noche. Hay un pubelle, ¡gracias por usarlo!

Slept on the Spanish side of the car park there are rangers checking the Portuguese side .. had no issues and was very quiet we were the only ones there .. no toilets or bins.. we also slept there in a storm and it is quite exposed to the Wind! X
Super Schlafplatz für einen Besuch im Park und am Wasserfall. Ruhige Nacht. Die Polizei kam morgens vorbei, hat uns aber nicht beachtet
Très bon spot pour passer la nuit et accéder au parc national. Mais il faut dormir côté espagnol (car interdit de dormir dans le parc naturel). Il y a une cascade ou l’on peut se baigner à 10mn à pied. Attention en fonction de la saison, il peut y avoir des interdictions (baignades, randonnées) dans le parc à cause des risques de feux de forêt (surveillance accrue).
Rustige nacht gehad. Makkelijk als je in de buurt wilt wandelen en vlakbij wilt overnachten. Niets speciaal.

parkt auf der spanischen seite, auf der portugiesischen kommen abends ein paar männer und schicken die camper weg:) also einfach am parkplatz vorbei, rechts rum auf den großen platz.
Buen lugar para pasar la noche y hacer rutas, cerca del sendero que llega hasta la cascada de san Miguel y el puente. Hay alguna zona que está mas nivelada que otra, pero en general se puede dormir bien y en silencio. Las vistas preciosas.
It's an "OK" place. I spent two nights there, just me. The day is really busy with cars, bikers, all around. But calms down on the night, just one or other car passing by. Lots of flies! I wouldn't recommend placing a table or eating outside. It's a good place to park and hike on the various landscapes around: Portela do Homem waterfall, St. Miguel bridge, Geiras hiking tracks, Albergaria woods.
Not the best place, but still ok. Super busy during the day with hikers, quiet at night. campers look for the gravel area on the Spanish side with shade and removed from the road. Cows and feral horses make the place picturesque but their manure is everywhere and attract clouds of flies. drinking springwater and a cafe with toilets on the Portuguese side. popular waterfall 10 mins walk away
un simple parking de frontière. pas du tout plat mais calme et propre. on a été contraint de se garer là, car, dans le parc national le stationnement de nuit est interdit. les garde forestier nous ont délogés.
Nous y avons passé une nuit , super calme aucun problème
Een fijne plek om te overnachten. je mag hier overnachten, gesproken met parkwacht, hartstikke vriendelijk. savonds laat Wilde paarden rond de camper, verder niks. geen auto's savonds of snachts. Tip: ga sochtends voor 10 uur naar de waterval dan is er niemand. toen wij na een wandeling stroomafwaarts terug kwamen was het druk bij de waterval.
emplacement vraiment top pour randonner et découvrir les magnifiques paysages du parc national. très calme la nuit et on a même était rejoint par des chevaux sauvages (juments et poulains) un moment incroyable. source en haut du parking avec une vue splendide
10 minutes walking to the portela do homem waterfall. we just parked there for a few hours and didn't spend the night, it´s not allowed.
overdag wandelen en zwemmen bij de 2 watervallen in Portugal en 's nachts slapen in Spanje in complete stilte, er zijn na 20.00 tot 's ochtends 9.00 hooguit 5 auto's voorbij gekomen. er zit ook nog een klein barretje bij
Assez glauque (postes de douanes abandonnés/ détritus partout) mauvaises odeurs et mouches en prime

Ich habe dort die Nacht auf der spanischen Seite verbracht - es fuhren spät am Abend noch einige Autos vorbei, am Morgen war es dort sehr ruhig! Tagsüber ist der Platz sehr voll und die Durchfahrt kostet 1,50€ - abends, nachts und morgens zu empfehlen.
Completamente lleno en verano durante el día. Bastante desagradable con tanta gente
A la noche estuvimos solos. De vez en cuando se escuchaban pasar los coches de un lado al otro de la frontera, pero estuvimos bastante tranquilos. Hay una roca que es buena compañera para aislarte de todo ello ;-) Desde ahí veíamos todo el valle y la cascada de Homem está super cerquita. Así si aprovechas prontito a la mañana, te das un baño en ella solo, antes de que llegue la muchedumbre.
