Perfekter Stellplatz für eine Nacht ohne jeglichen Service. Lediglich die Autobahn ist leicht zu hören (wer da empfindlich ist sollte lieber einen anderen Platz wählen)
Parking jour et nuit près de terrains de sports et jeux enfants. tyrolienne, toboggan... skate parc... foot, basket... super pour les enfants après une nuit de sommeil.
parking non loin à vol d'oiseau de l'A1, mais une fois les portes fermées, on n'entend plus rien.
Parking day and night near sports fields and children's games. zipline, slide ... skate park ... football, basketball ... great for children after a night's sleep. parking not far from the A1, but once the doors are closed, you can not hear anything.
Parken Tag und Nacht in der Nähe von Sportplätzen und Kinderspielen. Seilbahn, Rutsche ... Skatepark ... Fußball, Basketball ... ideal für Kinder nach einer Nachtruhe. Parken nicht weit von der A1, aber sobald die Türen geschlossen sind, kann man nichts mehr hören.

No bad experience with noisy people (it was a Wednesday night, don’t know about weekends…) Right next to a sports park, don’t know about toilets but there are bushes and trees if urgent. Close to A1, not loud at all but a slight background noise.
ShellMac03/01/2025Arrived 11pm, left 7am - a sports centre car park - no services but ideal for a tucked away discreet self-contained overnight sleep stop not far off A1. It was a very clear and frosty night so that might explain the road noise travelling which was a bit disruptive to sleep. Sports centre car park located in a residential area so important not to misuse in case residents complain/barriers go up.

Super quiet night after the footballers left. Morning dog walkers and people using the filed but all together a great spot for the night.
sonnenlieb02/06/2024Wir kamen gegen 18:00 an. Kurze Zeit später kamen zwei Jugendliche/Kinder, welche erst nur aufdringliche Fragen stellten und später anfingen, uns zu belästigen und auf unser (sich noch auf dem Gepäckträger befindende) Moped zu klettern. Als wir den Ort daraufhin verlassen wollten, verfolgten sie uns durch das Wohngebiet und sprangen während der Fahrt erneut auf das Moped und filmten unseren Van dabei. Vielleicht sollte man diesen Platz in der nächsten Zeit eher meiden.
saintamour28/05/2024Grand parking au calme. Il faut bien se garer pour respecter les personnes qui viennent faire leur sport. Le parking est vite rempli mais aussi vite vidé. Poubelle à disposition. Bien pour une étape.

Fantastic spot that we've used 3 times now. There are bins around the park, the centre has public toilets. Can be busy with kids sports and parties at the weekend from experience. A few good parking bays onto a grass verge for overhang and we can get a 6m boxer with bikes and we've seen a 7m van do the same. Shops, chippy and pubs are about a 10 minute walk away

just of A1 , used as a stop for travelling to Scotland. car park was empty by 9pm , park area for dog . 5 min walk to a few shops ,takeaways. car park was level and if you over 5.5mtrs long grass area you can overhang to fit into bays . no hight barriers or any signs. please act responsibility don't want to lose a convenient park up .

Beaucoup de passages sur le parking, jusqu’à 21h et à partir de 8h (les utilisateurs du gymnase). Lieu calme à part ça et les douches à 2 pounds sont très pratiques.

been here twice now just to use the complex showers. for £2 per person for a shower u cant moan at all. so if yh just wanting a rest an a shower then defo worth the stop.

Large car park in quiet residential area. Some traffic noise from A1 but didn’t disturb sleep. 30 vans might be taking the proverbial. Residents & visitors may well object!

Quiet car park near to play area and skate park. Just a short walk into a lovely little village with amazing shops. a fabulous Indian take away (coxhoe corner) and a very welcoming club for a refreshing beverage.

A nice spot to park overnight with good size of green field, children playground and football/basketball court... Next to A1 and can hear some traffics but overall we had had good night here.
