Lovely basic campsite. Two big fields to choose from. There was only a few other campers there when i stayed so we all had lots of space for privacy. The flushing toilets were great and the little horse box shower was actually amazing (better than some at expensive campsites that go off every 20 seconds). There’s even a sink area for washing dishes with drinking water. Phil The owner was amazing!

Simple at its best! Zwei super große Wiesen, relativ eben. Ein zur Dusche umgebauter Pferdeanhänger mit warmem Wasser, Spülbecken und tatsächlich gute Toiletten. Das einzige was man hört, ist zweimal /Stunde der Zug an der angrenzenden Bahnlinie, guter Ausgangspunkt, um St Ives zu besuchen (von Erth aus per Zug). Gastgeber Phil ist super nett!
This is exactly what we would welcome everywhere. A meadow with a toilet and shower, how simple for a very reasonable price. The owner is a very nice guy.
This simple back to basics site is open for the season again. Flushing loos this year and just one horsebox shower. £8 per person per night, but flexibility for families and groups. Chilled vibe, if you want parties and loud music this is not for you. Huuuge amounts of space, railway nearby, but this didn't bother us. 3 fields to choose from. it's our 4th year back here. A simple but lovely site
it seems to be closed, because there's nothing to find there. No signs, no plates, no open gates, no buildings.
owner very friendly and chilled, lots of space, lots of flat spots, toilets, shower etc very very basic but for £6 pppn worth it, I think the cheapest out there ive paid more for less.

Great site! Had everything we needed (loos, hot shower, washing up space) with loads of space!! Phil was great and gave recommendations on places to go! Will definitely be heading back!
De camping bestaat nog steeds en de coördinaten kloppen. Alles basic maar alles aanwezig, en voor de prijs perfect. Gewoon kamperen bij de boer.
Diesen Platz gibt es nicht oder nicht mehr.
I stayed here for a few weeks, phill and kit are lovely dudes. The campsite has a nice laid back vibe and plenty of space.. good location too. Great for the money. It will be a campsite I’ll always visit. I recommend this place
What a brilliant find . None of that uniform parking, club rubbish. We didn’t use loo but there is one, (we have our own obvs), a quirky couple of showers that work. Peaceful camping the old fashioned way, fire pits allowed if raised. Grass is lovely and soft and the butterflies flutter
Beaucoup de place et atmosphère décontractée. Le gardien est super sympa. Équipements originaux (très drôle la douche dans le van ) mais fonctionnels. Le train n'est pas loin mais ne derange pas car ne passe pas la nuit. Nous avons payé 12£ pour 2. Pratique car tout proche de St-Ives qui est une très jolie station.
Ganz toller Platz, für alle, die keinen großen Luxus benötigen. Duschen im Pferdeanhänger, Grubentoiletten und ein kleiner, überdachter Platz für den Abwasch vorhanden. Einziger Minuspunkt es die Laute Eisenbahnstrecke, von 0:00 Uhr ist aber kein Verkehr mehr.

Die Straße zum Platz mag für „Cornwall-Neulinge“ besonders eng wirken aber sie führt zum Ziel und lohnt sich! Der Platz an sich: sehr gemütlich und weitläufig. Hier findet jeder sein Plätzchen. Ein besonderes Highlight sind die sanitären Anlagen. Sehr puristisch aber besonders und mit sehr viel charme! Muss man selber erleben. Der Eigentümer ist super nett und hilfsbereit.

composting toilets, hot showers, washing up facilities and fresh water. most of the 3 feilds were pretty flat but if you end up on abit of a hill it's not much of an adjustment to level your van. Kit was really helpful, he wanted to make sure it was as good as it can be for guests. stayed for 3 nights in the end. big thumbs up from us :D
Spacious site, well located for exploring Cornwall. 15 minute walk to the St Erth train station to go into St Ives. Nice, hot shower, very friendly warden. Only downside for us is compost toilets only.
Große Wiese mit Plumpsklo und warmen Duschen in umgebauten Pferdeboxen. Fließend Wasser zum abwaschen und zwei große Mülltonnen. Hatten eine sehr angenehme und ruhige Nacht. Sehr zu empfehlen.
We planned to stay for a night which turned into a week. The camping has a great atmosphere to just relax outside the van. We also explored many close towns and beaches. In the evening we had cider at the bonfire provided by the camping and listened the horses (unicorns) on the neighbouring meadow. The heart of the place is the great warden who will appreciate nice people coming to this camping:)
Really nice and relaxed place, the showers are great and we had no height problems at 3,30m (approx. 11 feet).
Chilled vibes & eco friendly & at a fair price
Erst seit kurzem geöffnet, da die Öffnungszeiten abhängig von der Heuernte variieren. Platz liegt neben der Bahn, die nachts nicht fährt. Die Anfahrt ab der A30 ist eng aber machbar. Die letzten 800m sind einspurig, kurzes Rückwärtsfahren kann notwendig sein. Ein Problem mit der Höhe gab es bei 3,2m Höhe bei uns nicht. Absolut empfehlenswerter Platz!

Went for 1 night ended up staying for 5 ! Fantastic place for exploring and returning to laid back camp site with hot showers in horse boxes ! Kit (warden) helpful and laid back couldn’t have asked for more for £10 a night ! Best stay on our road trip of Cornwall

Stayed for 2 nights and loved it; highly recommend. There are 3 or 4 fields, so so much room! Warden is very friendly. 2 showers in converted horse boxes - lovely hot water; 3 compost toilets and 2 large sinks for the dishes, all cleaned daily. Train line runs close but doesn’t bother you overnight. You are able to hire a fire pit and buy logs. Ideal travelling to st Ives / lands end / Penzance.
Great Spot! Super sauber. Heiße Duschen. Cooler typ der alles regelt. Entspannte atmosphere. Nah am Surfspot! Alles auffüllen und ausleeren. 10 Pfund für 2 ! Wie geil ist das bitte!
What a find! Lovely campsite basic, but with everything you need. Ingenious showers in horse boxes (plenty of room to move) red hot showers, composting toilets, elsan, wash stand and water. Plenty of space to pitch, lovely friendly warden. We will definitely be back!
A wonderful spot! We tried calling ahead but couldn't get through, so chanced it. Phil the owner was so welcoming as was Kit. exactly what you need, 2 large fields with compost toilets, washing up facility and 2 showers in horseboxes! lovely hot shower. we were gutted we found this on our last night, otherwise would of stayed longer! Thank you for a fab experience, we will be back!

Brilliant stopover as park n Ride has no 24 hour pay facility. Run by young people. basically two large fields with water/sinks/hot showers. I think there is a loo too. Perfect for single camper/motor-camper as just a fiver per adult.87
Love this spacious camp spot, plenty of room to choose in the 2, maybe 3 fields, that give a good cover with medium height trees and bushes. The lane to it is fairly narrow n low,(maybe why the 3M height warning) only takes a few minutes anyway from the A30. friendly owner that pops in, but his number is on the gate if you need it. Well kept showers and compo loo’s. No electric. Good price. super relaxed.
