Les cottages de David Livingstone et leur belle église avec café et salons de thé seront bientôt ouverts sous l'arche des cottages. Peut marcher jusqu'à l'église de Greenstead, nommée la plus ancienne église en bois du monde, un sentier de randonnée croisé.
Car park / lorry park, nothing special, gravel but loads of room. Lovely town with steam railway. David Livingstone cottages and lovely church with coffee mornings and tea rooms soon to be open through the arch at the cottages. Can walk to Greenstead church named the oldest wooden church in world a crossed field footpaths.
Parkplatz / LKW-Parkplatz, nichts Besonderes, Kies aber jede Menge Platz. Schöne Stadt mit Dampfeisenbahn. David Livingstone Cottages und eine schöne Kirche mit Kaffeemorgen und Teestuben, die bald durch den Bogen in den Cottages geöffnet sein werden. Zu Fuß erreichen Sie die Greenstead-Kirche, die als älteste Holzkirche der Welt bekannt ist und über Feldwege führt.

Privately owned by the car dealer opposite, who allows overnight stays. The 'no overnight caravans' rule is to keep the usual suspects away. The entrance is more like a ploughed field than a car park, but it's alright for a night or two. Decent pubs and restaurants a few minutes walk away, supermarket too.
Lovely little overnight stop, just off high street with lots of shops and restaurants available, small Supermarket 10 minutes walk away. Within a busy town so some noise is to be expected. Only down side is the entrance road is exceptionally rough so be careful if you have a low long wheelbase Motorhome. Sign says no overnight caravaning so no caravans allowed.
I’m not sure why the reviews are so high of this place! The picture is very misleading. It’s a car park at the back of houses in the middle of a small town. The car park is full of dumped rubbish and is full of pot holes. Lots of locals park their cars here. It is definitely quiet and since you are in the town it’s easy to get around. Good phone signal EE/Vodafone/3 network. Car park mostly level. It is a very functional sleeping spot but that’s it.
Stayed here for four nights, right near high street, bus routes, pub on the corner as well as a cafe, no service or toliets, but quite at night and no one bothered me the whole time i was there, felt safe as a solo female vanlifer
Great spot. Had a Good nights sleep. Did not get disturbed throughout the night. Leads to a path for walks. Felt safe. Fairly level ground. Noise from the road did not bother me.
Level car park, some gravel, some hardstanding at the far end. Quiet until about 7.30am then some road noise. Delimore's cafe just around the corner does a great breakfast menu and is dog friendly.
