we tried to park early evening on a hot day sat 21 june. it was so busy no where to park and where they are building new flats the road is shut off completely so you cannot drive down towards mermaid beach. In fact if we were in a bigger vehicle it would have been hideous. will avoid in future...unless its raining..no sunshine people madness.
Good and relatively quiet overnight parking spot. We were lucky to find a space as was busy. Newly built block of flats seemed empty so maybe parking here may be harder in future. Currently great for a late night stop before our ferry (only 20 minutes to Dover). Downsides are stony beach hides view of sea and no facilities.
8-18 Uhr maximal 5 Stunden parken erlaubt, in der Saison kostenpflichtig. Wenn man spät vom Zug oder der Fähre kommt ok, ebener Boden und nachts relativ ruhig.
Currently there’s a very large block of expensive looking flats being constructed close to the park end, consequently there is absolutely no parking along that area. That said, there is still quite a bit of day/night parking on Marine Parade opposite Marine Parade and up to the Burstin Hotel.
Free parking between 6pm and 8am. Whole road about a quarter mile long with spaces on each side. Right on seafront, 2 minute walk to pier. Downsides are noisy road even throughout night and the machines weren’t working at 8am next morning so had to pack up and leave so we didn’t get a fine!
Quite a nice place to stay. Especially if you can go onto the parking with 2 meter hight restriction, right on the sea side.
Endroit bien placé quand on prend le tunnel, mais c'est le seul avantage. Le coin est plutôt glauque. Nous avons passé une nuit interrompue par des va-et-vient de voitures et de la musique.
Tres bon emplacement. Au calme. La meilleure place la plus à plat est la dernière tout au bout de l'impasse
