Great little campsite. You can hear the road in the distance but it’s only a small issue. Good for walking, biking and dogs! Very clean toilets and showers!
Loges forestières de Glentress. Endroit simple, juste sur le centre de piste de VTT 7Stanes Glentress. Relativement peu d'éviers et seulement une maison sanitaire. Vide la semaine, assez fréquenté le week-end, puis sanitaires propres marginaux, sinon ok. Zone Wi-Fi gratuite. Salle de séchage pour vêtements mouillés et sales. Pas de buanderie ni de machine à laver ! Si personne ne cherche une place de parking le soir, le gérant viendra le lendemain matin. Environ 4 km de Peebles et environ 7 km d'Innerleithen, tous deux réalisables sur une piste cyclable relativement plate. Possibilité de louer des lodges sur le parcours. Aucune option d'élimination des eaux grises.
Glentress Forest Lodges. Simple place, right on the 7Stanes mountain bike trail center Glentress. Relatively few sinks and only a sanitary house. Empty during the week, quite busy at the weekend, then clean sanitary marginal, otherwise ok. Free WiFi zone. Drying room for wet, dirty clothes. No laundry or washing machine! If nobody is looking for a parking space in the evening, manager will come by the next morning. Approximately 4km to Peebles and about 7km to Innerleithen, both on a relatively flat bike path feasible. Possibility to rent lodges on the course. No disposal option for greywater other than the Blackwater disposal point.
Glentress Forest Lodges. Einfacher Ort, direkt am 7Stanes Mountainbike-Trail-Zentrum Glentress. Relativ wenige Waschbecken und nur ein Sanitärhaus. Unter der Woche leer, am Wochenende ziemlich voll, dann saubere Sanitäranlagen grenzwertig, sonst ok. Kostenlose WLAN-Zone. Trockenraum für nasse, schmutzige Kleidung. Keine Wäscherei oder Waschmaschine! Wenn abends niemand einen Parkplatz sucht, kommt der Manager am nächsten Morgen vorbei. Ca. 4 km nach Peebles und ca. 7 km nach Innerleithen, beides auf relativ flachem Radweg machbar. Möglichkeit, Lodges auf dem Golfplatz zu mieten. Keine Entsorgungsmöglichkeit für Grauwasser.

LenaChris9127/08/2025Ein schöner Platz im Grünen, Sanitär war ausreichend von der Größe und auch sauber. Sehr warmes Wasser. Leider ist die Straße etwas nah, sodass man beim draußen sitzen die Autos hört. Die Dumping Station war sehr ungepflegt und abends hat es bis zu unserem Stellplatz rüber gerochen. Daher nur drei Sterne.

Een camping middenin een natuurgebied met activiteitencentrum. Veel gezinnen met bikers die elkaar kennen…. zo was er een groep die de hele avond bij elkaar zaten, gezellig voor hen, jammer voor ons. Schoon toiletgebouw, ruime plek en alles regelen via mail.

Wirklich ideale Möglichkeit um die 7stanes Trails in Glentress&Innerleithen zu erleben! Waren erst in Innerleithen biken und sind abends auf diesen Campingplatz, wo wir die Ebike-Akkus wieder voll machen konnten und 30£ inkl EHU bezahlten. Normalerweise muss man um 10 Uhr vom Platz, aber wir konnten 10£ zahlen und den Folgetag stehen bleiben. Waren biken und konnten so nochmal Aufladen & Duschen!

Gros problème dans les sanitaires des femmes. Les chasses d’eau et les douches ne s’écoulent pas, c’est très sales. Beaucoup de campeurs qui font du vélo dans la forêt, il y a de la terre partout. Le portail indique 12£ à chaque fois qu’on sort du camping. Je déconseille
bleuenn18/07/2024Camping propre avec cuisine, frigo et congélateur à disposition. Électricité et évacuation eau sale a disposition. Camping calme en bord de forêt. Nous avons payé 25£ pour une nuit avec un van, à deux, sans électricité.

Schöner Campingplatz auf dem Gelände der Glentress Forest Lodges man muss durch die Schranke fahren dann ganz durch. Es ist schlecht ausgeschildert. Sonst ein schöner Platz Sanitäranlagen ok ev etwas klein wenn es voll ist. Bezahlen und verbuchen geht online . Wir haben für 6 m Womo mit 2 Leuten ohne Strom 25 £ bezahlt Strom extra 5£

stayed 2 nights here. was only initially booked for 1 but wanted to extend. Great place, and double quiet over night. manager was very friendly and accommodating. baring in mind what this place is, they do a very good job in keeping the place clean.

Parked up top field by oak tree as we’re quiet on this Sunday,. Amazing views, plenty of trails to take , walk or bike, clean toilets and showers open 24/7 ,. Also hot water to wash dishes outside + electric plug socks, Tesco, Sainsbury’s 5 minute drive

22 Mai 2023: Einige Stellplätze sowie kleine Hütten, unter der Woche ist man hier fast für sich, am Wochenende unbedingt vorher reservieren! Wunderschöne Wander& Radwege unterschiedlicher Schwierigkeitsgrade ausgeschildert. Toller Platz mit praktisch angelegten Sanitäranlagen, hundefreundlich. Ein schöner Platz zum Ankommen in der schottischen Natur nahe Peebles.

Nice and green camping site with a lot of grass, good view into the hilly landscape. Very clean and comfortable showers / toilets with heating, a lot of space and hairdryers. There is even an indoor community room, cooking facilities and a drying room. We stayed just one night with our small Van for 20 £ for two persons (electricity would be +5£). Manager was very friendly. It was perfect for us.
Alainlevan01/10/2021Camping bien placé car proche de départs de balades VTT. Par contre peu de services en général et wifi gratuite mais trop faible donc inutile. Les sanitaires ne sont pas très propres (moisissures dans la douche, sur le rideaux, rouille sur le mobilier etc.). En 5 jours, aucun ménage n'a été fait. On a payé 25£ la nuit pour 2pers et un van avec elec.
