Impasse tranquille au bord de la rivière Cam et d'un petit parc local. Pratiquement pas de circulation la nuit, car il y a un petit parc d'un côté et un club de pétanque couvert de l'autre. À 20 minutes à pied du centre-ville de Cambridge ou à 5-6 minutes en vélo. Aucun panneau de restriction de stationnement d'aucune sorte, pour autant que je sache. J'ai séjourné ici vendredi soir - seulement 3 autres voitures environ. Espace pour 3-4 camping-cars/camping-cars, je dirais.
Quiet dead-end road by the river Cam and a small local park. Virtually no traffic during the night, as it has a small park on one side, and an indoor bowls club on the other. 20 minutes walk to city centre Cambridge, or 5-6 minutes by bike. No parking restriction signs of any type, as far as I can tell. Stayed here Friday night - only another 3 cars about. Space for 3-4 motorhomes/campervans, I would say.
Ruhige Sackgasse am Fluss Cam und einem kleinen örtlichen Park. Nachts praktisch kein Verkehr, da es auf der einen Seite einen kleinen Park und auf der anderen einen Indoor-Bowling-Club gibt. 20 Minuten zu Fuß zum Stadtzentrum von Cambridge oder 5-6 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad. Soweit ich das beurteilen kann, gibt es keinerlei Parkverbotsschilder. Ich war hier am Freitagabend, es waren nur noch 3 Autos unterwegs. Platz für 3-4 Wohnmobile/Wohnmobile würde ich sagen.

Great little cul-de-sac to park up for the night. Very quiet we arrived about 5 pm and had a lovely walk in the woods and along the river. More cars arrive for work we think in the morning but you can park anywhere. Great for cycling into Cambridge. Which is only about five or 10 minute ride. No facilities but worth it to be close to the city centre.
standen hier jetzt 1 Nacht. Praktisch mit Hund, da er im Park frei laufen kann. Ruhig in der Nacht, nachdem die Bowlingbahn zu hat und morgens die Leute nicht wieder zur Arbeit/ Uni auf dem Fahrrad fahren. Ca. von 22.00- bis 7.00 Uhr.
Perfect place for an overnight stop to visit Cambridge . Lovely park and riverside walk . 20 min walk into town along the river Cam . No restrictions for overnight parking so a couple of nights would not be a problem . No facilities . BP garage with londis store about 5 minutes walk for last minute requirements . Residential area so leave no trace !
Conforme à la description,nous avons super bien dormi. Nous sommes arrivés vers 19h et toutes les places étaient prises par les locaux qui étaient dans leur club d’activité (Normal).Vers 20h environ,les places ont été libérées. Attention, je pense pas que cela convienne aux camping car ,la rue est un impasse étroite , j’ai du remonter en marche arrière pour pouvoir faire demi tour en van .

Other side of the river has a few vans there with river views but in front of a lot of houses. This place on the 4th of Jan was pretty quiet.. Nearly midnight going to sleep in a bit
2 nuits très calmes passées ici ! Beaucoup de locaux et leurs chiens se promènent dans le petit parc. Pub très sympa à 10 minutes à pieds. Le centre ville de Cambridge est à 5-10 minutes en vélo, 20-30 minutes à pieds. Parfait !
Exzellenter Stellplatz. Direkt an einem großen Park. Man glaubt kaum, dass man mitten in der Stadt ist. Je nach dem, wo man am Straßenrand steht, gibt es Plätze von "sehr schräg" bis hin zu "fast eben". Gegenüber des Straßenrandes liegt eine Bowling Halle, die bei unserem Aufenthalt wie verlassen wirkte. Wir hatten eine ganz ruhige erholsame Nacht.
Parfait, parking très bien situé, poubelles disponibles. Avons passé une nuit et la journée pour visite de cette magnifique ville. Garder ce lieu propre , rare parking gratuit sans gêner maison
Sadly this is no longer a good option - we arrived around 4pm and there was one other Mhome already parked. The rest of the space was coned off - the premises across the road have put the cones (not official police cones) out and there was a security guard. I asked if the cones would be there all night and he said they had big wagons turning in 24/7. We had to go into his car park to turn round.

Very good spot to visit Cambridge (20-25minutes to the centrum). We stay one night withot any problems.

arrived early evening, a couple of spots left. Had a very good night's sleep, very quiet overnight. Easy walk to Tesco, and 30mins to city. Quite a few folks walking past next morning, dog walkers I think.

Quiet for most of the night, although it is right next to the park that leads to the foot/cycle bridge to the Riverside walk to the city (lovely), the indoor bowling club and the combined colleges rowing club. The road has some subsidence, meaning it can be awkward finding a level spot, but I never found it to be a problem.

Wir waren hier die einzigen Camper, abends und nachts nichts los. Morgen dann paar Hundebesitzer und Radfahrer. Haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt. Kleiner Waldbereich am Fluss, wo man ungestört direkt am Ufer sitzen kann.
Vannacht een rustige nacht gehad op deze plek. Stonden 3 campers. Goed om centrum en universiteit gebouwen te bezoeken. Ong 1/2 uurtje lopen. Alleen verkeer(en mensen) van en naar de roeivereniging. En wat voorbijgangers die hond gaan uitlaten in stukje bos.
Prima rustig plekje in doodlopende straat. Enkele bezoekers die langs wandelen of fietsen voor de nabijgelegen sportfaciliteiten. Klein parkje om hond uit te laten. Geen prullenbak gezien. Verder geen faciliteiten. Ongeveer 2.1 km lopen naar hart van centrum. Goed te doen. Onder een grote brug door en via een klein wandel/ fietsbruggetje de rivier over. Via park zo in het centrum.

it's a fantastic spot for parking there are usually other campers there in reply to the last comment the reason the traffic counts were there is because they were giving out covid vaccinations and needed the space at the time. I know this to be true because I was one of them in the queue.
Arrived 7pm, all the available spaces were full with cars and commercial vehicles, also many traffic cones had been placed along the road to prevent parking along half the length of the remaining road. There was a man in hi-viz, patrolling the bowling club car park and giving us the evil eye as we debated what to do next. Ended up driving away - this place made us feel really unwelcome.

Nous y avons passé une nuit très calme. Puis nous avons laissé le camping car la journée pour aller se promener dans Cambridge. Super!

A nice quiet cul de sac. No facilities but also no parking restrictions. Next to a wood and very close to River Cam. Short, (25-30) min walk to City centre. Recommended more for vans than Motor Homes to avoid any hassle as road not that wide. Only stayed for 1 Thursday night. Would come again if circumstances allow.
1 nacht gestaan en per fiets Cambridge (9 minuten naar centrum) bezocht. Rustige nacht. Zondagochtend veel auto's voor de roeivereniging. Maar weinig last van gehad.

I stayed for one night and had no problems. Seemed like a nice quiet spot and 30 min walk into the city centre.
Great. Very quiet. Floor not super even tough. If people are playing, it can be the occasion to discover English bowling by sneaking in just across the street.

Zunächst hatten wir ein gutes Gefühl, jedoch wurde unsere Alarmanlage gleich zwei Mal in der Nacht ausgelöst. Wir wissen nicht durch was oder durch wen. Haben uns nicht mehr sicher gefühlt und sind weitergefahren.

Stayed here a couple of night ago As stated by previous reviews. this was a great place to park. Very quiet opposite a bowling club and NHS vaccination centre. No problems at all Felt very safe.
We stayed there in August 2021 for one night , great spot , no restrictions, nice walk into town, right next to a park for dog walkers. There was a covid jab place on the other side which cars were turning up to from 7:30 but at night very quiet.
Stayed 1 night with no problems but it’s under trees and quite dark. Cars pulled up frequently and a lad on a scooter came down dealing drugs each time. Never caused us a problem though. Hard to find a spot in Cambridge but 1 night was enough
Great place to park up, especially if you have a dog. Small woods leading onto fields with plenty of dog walkers. The road was busy (ish) around teatime with people going into the rowing club but wasn’t a problem. Quiet overnight and woke up to bird song. Nice pub 5 minutes walk (Green Dragon) that has a garden overlooking the river Cam. Would definitely stay here again.
Excellent spot. Adjacent to a wild park that leads down to the Cam. Through the park to the left across a field and there is a bridge into the centre.

Stayed here last night (10/08/2019). After stopping off all around the UK, we thought we’d struggle to find a good, quiet area to sleep in a city, especially when we are sleeping in our little Volkswagen Polo - but this street was perfect for the one evening. Although the street lights are a little bright there wasn’t much noise or passers by. The road is pretty much a dead end and has a few other vans and cars parked up which made us feel a little more at ease.
