This National Trust Scotland car park is for hikers, not motorhome/campervan overnighting. It's the only car oak for those walking Beinn Alligin. the road is too narrow for parking on the road.

  • 3/5

Great day parking but kinda sloppy for spending the night

  • 5/5

We only parked during our hike. Would be a great place for overnight parking, but don't park unless you're going for a hike next day.

  • 5/5

Good night stop especially for climbing Beinn Dearg or Beinn Alligin. Quiet and sheltered by trees. Space for 10 vehicles.

  • 5/5

used it to climb Bein Alligin first thing next morning, would only use it if climbing the hills as it seems to be very popular! Very quiet at night.

this is the starting point for an extremely popular hill walk and the car park was specifically created to alleviate the problems caused by parking on the single track road. If you must stay here overnight please be courteous and vacate before 07:00 to allow walkers to use it and to let local traffic use the road without hindrance. Severe midges here.

  • 3/5

Bon parking mais beaucoup de midges.

  • 5/5

very quiet spot. Great location in the wilderness, trees help with shelter, bins available, no other facilities. would definitely visit again. Worth a look round the local Deer museum.

  • 5/5

vue sympa quand vous prenez les chemins de rando, calme et quasi vide la nuit où nous y avons dormi. attention, blindé de midges, venez en connaissance de cause...

  • 3/5

Not suitable for overnight stays unless there are plenty spare places available, this is a hillwalkers access car park. Staying overnight and preventing others from using the car park for its intended purpose is inconsiderate. If you're not heading into the hills then please use another parking spot.

Super spot. Le bruit de la cascade est splendide. Grand parking bien plat. En tente de toit c'était parfait. Pas de bruit de voiture.

  • 5/5

Very peaceful, flat, has a rubbish bin and beautiful walks directly out of the parking area

  • 5/5

Grand parking à côté d'une route peu passante. Poubelles à disposition de l'autre côté de la route.

Lovely quiet spot, car park belongs to Scottish national trust . We stopped here overnight very peaceful. There’s a testing walk up the hill out of the car park or a nice flat walk out of the left hand corner of the car park just follow the path diagonally through down to views of the lock.

  • 5/5

Lovey level and quiet car park, rubbish bins also close by and public showers only a mile or so down the road.

  • 4/5

Decent spot, hikers parking. Only thing missing is a decent view since you are in the town with one of the most iconic views

  • 5/5

Had a fantastic nights sleep here , one other van plenty of room for more . we did the walk out of the carpark right of the bridge , was really nice not steep and we saw a stag .when we returned the car park was getting busy with walkers so be considerate

  • 5/5

Plenty of space, sound of waterfall is lovely. Level-ish.

Great spot, especially if you plan to hike Beinn Aligin. Take the footpath in the corner out of the car park heading south and there are pools in the gorge which are great to bathe/cool down.

Stayed here a night before climbing the Munro's the next day. Quite a lot of midges but very quiet, no other vans staying overnight and we saw a deer wander through whilst we were having our dinner.

  • 3/5

This is the start of the Beinn Alligin hike. It's an okay place to stay the night but please be considerate of parking all day and taking up spots for cars arriving to do the hike. There are other spots nearby.

  • 3/5

Large car park but midges were so bad we didn't leave the van and only left at a sprint the next morning to climb the munros. Very sheltered though and very quiet. Does get very busy during the day with munro walkers so make sure you park considerately.

Kein Internet und wenig gerade Plätze. Dafür kann man eine schöne Wanderung machen. Ende August mäßig besucht.
