Perfect spot out the way lovely views, ground is mostly flat but some ramps would certainly help. Lower car park is perfectly placed for walk to cove (about 40mins down and a hard 50mins walk back) and as always pop some coins in the honesty box.
Absolutely perfect. Stunning view, no signs, no litter - there is a QR code where you can donate sth. It's not everywhere level but for 2 or 3 enough space.
Absolutely gorgeous! The view over towards Swansea is stunning! (Yes, you can see Wales over the water!) all alone for our night… check the honor box and drop a few £ in… We did it online! Great spot… let’s keep it that way!
Stayed Sat 29th, Wind was horrendous and some dope on a bike/moped shouted something unintelligible as he rode past (twice) Apart from that it’s a perfect spot. Two other vans and us.
Great spot with beautiful views and some nice walks. Slightly sloping but some level spots to be found with the right positioning. It was very windy but that didn’t bother us. We were there with 4 other vans so does get busy. There is an honesty box there so be sure to put some money in or the no camping signs may go up.
Nothing has been ruined about this spot. It’s peaceful, and has stunning views across to wales. Obviously if you go in school holiday season expect others to be using it. It’s a public parking spot at the end of the day with beautiful views. Just keep it tidy guys!
Excellent park up for the night, great views and amazing sunset. Were joined by two other campers. Around 3 carparks within a mile of each other so lots of places to camp.
Mit Kindern unter 10 zu weit um zum Meer zu laufen, doch geniale Aussicht. Straße ist nicht viel befahren und andere Übernachtungsgäste waren nicht viele.
The perfect park up. Planned to stay 1 night, stayed 3. Calm as anything first 2 nights, no wind at all. But 3rd night the wind came and was pretty strong! Amazing view and barely anyone around. We had the place to ourselves first night and just 2 other campers other nights. Amazing coastal walks accessible from carpark.
Great place to park for the night, we end up staying 3 nights as there is a lot to do around !
The view is amazing! Super quiet, you will just hear the cows in the morning.
If the weather is not good it is not the ideal place, our last night was very windy and rainy.
Our first 2 nights the weather was great, we even had a bbq, not much wind.

stunning location! bit windy but worth it. slightly slopes but not enough to be a serious issue if you have blocks or are able to park at the bottom of the small car park. space for a 15 cars or thereabouts. decent Internet
Lovely & quiet apart from the wind. Big spot for 5/6 campers. Could easily fit a Motorhome too. This part of the north devon coastline is beautiful and here’s a good spot to experience it from!!
We had a great stay here between the recent storms, it was very loud due to it being exposed to the wind but thankfully I’m a heavy sleeper. Plenty of space and only a gentle slope if at the bottom of the car park. Toilet 10 minutes away in Lynton. Like most wild camping the best but was the view overlooking the rugged coast of North Devon.
It is great spot with a nice view and plenty of space, would recommend to spend a night there if you don't mind the wind(which was very strong the night I used it)
Nice spot with a great view over the sea. Lovely small bay at the bottom of the hill but not a suitable road for motorhomes, so you will need to walk and it is quite a steep climb back up. However the spot is very exposed and was very windy when we stayed. We left during the night as the van was shaken by the strong gusts.
Great spot. Dead quiet. Within easy reach of the Valley of the Rocks. Lanes are quite narrow in a few directions so could be awkward for some with larger vans.
Stunning stunning views. The sunrise from here was incredible. No facilities except a big dirt lookout spot so take your litter home. Leave each place even cleaner than you found it and we'll continue to be able to use these beautiful places.
Worth a stop for the view even if only for a photo!
This place was amazing! Huge parking area doubt it would ever be full. Great views and areas of grass to have a picnic on. Also the beach as suggested in others recommendations is amazing.
The views are beautiful and the coastal walks are also superb as you can walk for miles in any direction with fantastic scenery.
Parking nice and easy, no signs and easy going.
One big issue whilst staying was three separate campers letting their Dogs poo where they liked without picking up etc, had to be very careful getting in and out of van and around the car park, please think of others!
Fantastic spot. Lovely views over to Wales, great walks (the circular route to the hunters Inn, Heddons mouth and back is fantastic) and close Lynton. We had an amazing meal at Charlie Fridays.
Wild swimming spots along the East Lynn River are great - do a walk along from Rockford Inn to Watersmeet.
Stayed 3 nights - really friendly ranger came by and gave us a map and some spots to check out.
Nice overnight stop with a couple of other vans. Beautiful sea views and a stunning sunset. All slightly sloping, so levellers would have been beneficial. It's very open to the elements,it was very windy while we were here!
We stayed for two nights on O2 we had full 4G and was able to stream the semi final England game with no issues! Make sure you walk down to woody Bay just after low tide there is an amazing tidal pool to swim in!! First night it was raining a lot and we had just one camper with us second night we was joined by two others
Just spent the night here. Perfect. Take a walk down into woody bay, lovely tidal pool and a stunning waterfall. Valley of the rocks (not far from here) is a must see too.
Great spot with stunning views, the wild guide marks this car park as the closest to Woody Bay, but before you go descending the long journey by foot to visit the old man made tidal pool, there is a second option to park slightly further down the zig zag. Very near roads so cannot let the dogs off but all in all a good spot.
Great spot, fab view out to sea and across to Valley of the Rocks. Had it to myself last night, v peaceful if a little windy. Did a v long walk so decided to have 1 more night here(usually only stay 1) 2 other vans & a MH this eve.
Amazing spot!! We planned to stay for one night but stayed for two. Very quiet, big car park where there were a couple of other over night campers. Nice walk down to the sea.
Beautiful spot to stay the night, no facilities, stayed with 7 other vans...very peaceful night, stunning view, there is an honesty box, shame some of the others didn’t use it, a couple quid is nothing really is it.
A beautiful spot, we couldn’t leave so decided to stay an extra night. It was quite busy, about 6 other campervans, couple of people wild camping in tents off the side and cars coming throughout the day but it didn’t bother us at all. We have 2 dogs and felt completely comfortable with them roaming around. There are no toilets nearby so be prepared for to pee where you can. Can’t wait to return!
Stunning views. A great walk down to Woody Bay Hotel and then down into Woody Bay. We stayed the night in our camper along with 7 other campervans/motorhomes. No issues, definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful spot.
I love this spot, stunning views and we had the place to ourselves overnight. A few cars appeared in the morning as I think people park here to walk the coast path but still pretty quiet.
