Reception war Abends nicht mehr besetzt, Platz frei wählen und am nächsten Morgen bezahlen. Es sind Telefonnummern abgegeben zum Erfragen des Toiletten-Codes, waren aber bei unserer Ankunft aber nicht erreichbar. Nicht schlimm, man kann die Nachbarn fragen.

I stayed for one night, and even though a public road runs through the site, it’s very quiet and I found it no bother. Lovely views over the bay & staff super friendly & helpful. I didn’t use the shower facilities so can’t comment, but downside for me was the sloped pitches (chocks needed) & no drive over grey…although the lovely chap on reception lent me hose! All minor points and I’d return.

Beautiful location and friendly staff. Easy to walk into town or to the harbor. As others have said, main drawback is the small shower facilities. Overall still very comfortable.
Sehr schöner Platz direkt am Strand. 31,50£ für 2 Personen und einen kleinen Van mit Strom. Ermäßigung wenn man über 60 ist, sonst kostet es noch 4,50£ mehr. Die Sanitäranlagen könnten restauriert werden aber ehrlich gesagt habe ich hier auch noch nicht viel bessere gefunden. Ansonsten schöner kleiner Fischerort.
Ein super schöner Platz, die Sanitäranlagen alt aber sehr sehr sauber. Der Empfang sehr herzlich. Das Städchen mit seinem alte schönen Hafen hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Wir sind gleich länger geblieben, ein Ort zum entspannen...nette Unterhaltung mit dem Campingplatzbetreiber.
Cracking site right on edge of sea, friendly owner, clean bogs & showers, big playpark with swingings, slids, seesaw, sandpit, & more, short walk to village, ice cream shop (yummy), lovely walks round cove & harbour, sea lulls u to sleep at night, defo come back, lev nowt behind
We stayed end Feb 25. Lovely little campsite, choice of where you’d like to park if early enough to book. All pitches need chocks for levelling as they veer to the beach, great to watch the tide coming in and out. We didn’t use toilet block as self sufficient, but could do with a little upgrading, however looked clean when viewing. All staff lovely.
Great views (van parked right over the beach) & warm welcoming! Quiet family place. 22,50 pounds with electricity (small van, two people, July 2024). It would really take little to get perfection - e.g., renovate toilets.
Ruhiger Stellplatz mit Blick zum Meer. Einfach top. Saubere Duschen und WCs gibt es zwischen den Mobilheimen. Späte Anreise ist kein Problem, kann am nächsten Morgen bezahlt werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Toller Platz mit fantastischer Sicht aufs Meer. Delfine kann man springen sehen. Die Staff ist sehr freundlich und nett. Die Sanitäranlage ist, sagen wir mal so, nicht auf dem neuesten Stand. Aber Duschen kann man eben. Wir haben 20£ ohne Strom gezahlt.
Camping is prachtig gelegen in de baai met uitzicht op het strand en de zee. De kinderen konden erg fijn spelen in de afgelsoten speeltuin en op het strand. Het sanitair was schoon maar erg oud en niet overal functioneel. Voor de dames maar 1 douche wat erg weinig is voor een camping. Vriendelijk personeel
Helpful friendly staff and excellent location. Lovley costal walk to Sandend. The toilets are dated but very clean. Gents have two showers and 5 WCs in adjacent blocks. Discount for over 60s.
Fantastic views and friendly staff but the toilet block is dated and completely inadequate.
The views are fantastic and the warden is lovely. We got a seafront pitch (which are all without electricity) for one night (It’s Thursday night and the weekend is fully booked. The toilet block and single shower (one for men and one for women in the entire campsite) are old, basic and from 18:00 or so relatively unpleasant - I dread to think what they will be like at the weekend!
Sehr schön gelegener Zeltplatz mit viel Rasen und Sicht auf die Bucht. Die Sanitäranlagen benötigen dringend ein Modernisierung, da nicht mehr zeitgemäss.
Lovely spot right on the sea front. Facilities very dated and only 1 shower, however lovely and warm. Hardstanding pitches on a slope so levelling ramps needed. Great fish and chip shop in town.
Wir hatten einen schönen Platz am Meer. Die Entsorgung von Grauwasser geht leider nicht über einen Abwasserrost.
Great location but needs a little updating and tidying. Gravel pitch could do with being a bit flatter and wider and toilets etc need modernised. Very clean and friendly staff but needs an upgrade if you want people to return. Great food in The Station Hotel was a bonus ?
Pitch’s are neat and tidy with great sea vistas but the toilet shower facilities are very dated and cold (October)The whole campsite including the toilet shower block is well maintained and clean
Très bel endroit en bord de mer avec un personnel très accueillant. Les emplacements ne sont pas tous plats. 22 £ avec électricité. Il n'y a pas de grille de vidange pour les eaux grises, prévoir un seau ou un réservoir roulant. Au village, il y a boulangeries, petit supermarché et restaurants.
Beautiful stay at the sea, £18.5. Toilets and showers and OK Wi-Fi. The pitches are nice and well kept.
Total unkompliziert und sehr netter Betreiber! Direkt oberhalb des Ufers, wenn man keinen Strom benötigt. Pin für WC und Dusche, 20,50 GBP / Nacht (ohne Strom!). Sehr saubere Sanitär, Damen 1 Dusche plus 6 Toiletten.
Sehr freundlicher und offener Campingplatz! Wir haben ein Platz mit direktem Meerblick! Duschen super!
Endroit sympa avec accès direct à la mer, les gérants sont très sympas, toilettes propres et eau très chaude, par contre, pas de plateforme pour les eaux usées. Il faut le faire comme les anglais avec un petit seau qu'on videra plusieurs fois le camping est « Friendly » comme m'a dit une locale..
