Good spot for a night, very quiet and toilets at the other side off the road.

  • 5/5

Great place for very reasonable cost. Places like this are becoming less common, so please respect it and look after it.

  • 5/5

Wonderful overnight stop, so peaceful, flat and plenty of space. Met the owners in the morning who were lovely and friendly. £5 for day and night is a bargain for such a nice safe spot. Toilets over the road are currently open all night. Cottage Tearoom just up the road for a tasty breakfast.

  • 5/5

A great place. Quiet and close public toilets. The owner came to empty the honesty box and the bins every day. She was very friendly and concerned that everything "alright", and if anything wasn't then to let her know. Great walking and a fine selection of pubs - especially like the Kings Head - and a couple of cafe's.

  • 5/5

Lovely stop for £5 the night very quiet night had a lovely meal in the pub definitely recommend

Arrived on Sunday 06 April at 1600hrs and straight into a parking place. Popped across the road to see if the garage was open to pay and the owners turned up to empty the honesty box. Well what a lovely couple, really friendly and were fine where I had parked up. Had a chat and was recommended a couple of pubs a short walk away and off they went. Suns shining, the scenery is amazing and the beer is calling. Would add this as one of my favourite places to visit, so support this gorgeous site and come and enjoy the place, but please make sure you pay, there’s an honesty box and make sure you take all your rubbish home again.

Stayed here for 2 nights on the 5th and 6th of March, a really pleasant village, a lovely cafe, and the food at the Bluebell Inn was brilliant. The gentleman who owns the car park is very nice. The only downside is there's no ATM in the village, and you need cash for the honesty box

  • 5/5

Stopped here on route to Scotland and it was such a peaceful night right next to the river obviously no amenities but a good place for a stopover £3 parking for the day and £5 for the night.

  • 5/5

Great spot, next to the river, on the edge of Kettlewell village. Had two quiet nights there, for a tenner in the honesty box. There were about 6 vans there but plenty of space. Public toilets over the road, close to pubs with good food, & nice walks.

  • 5/5

Thanks so much for providing such a great parking area in this beautiful village ,3 great pubs that all do lovely food, pay in honesty box at the entrance, very clean public toilet opposite

  • 5/5

loved it here. Great spot. very quiet despite being next to the road bridge and being full. Was an advantage getting there early cos we got tucked in next to the wall. Friendly visit from the owners who made us feel welcome. Next to a camp site but still very private. Worth a fiver in the honesty box. Very close to well equipped toilets and a few quiet pubs.

  • 5/5

Brilliant spot! Three other vans there the night we stayed, really peaceful the only noise from the River Wharf and nature, perfect! Ate in The Blue Bell Inn food was lovely and lots of it! £5 to stay overnight just left in honesty box. Will definitely return.

  • 5/5

Top spot. Thank you to those who own it for putting it on.

  • 5/5

incredibly quiet, beautiful village. by far the best place we have stopped. honesty box payment. right next to the river. worth visiting here again just to stop here.

  • 5/5

Fantastic park up. Great value for money at £5 for an overnight stop. Kettlewell is a lovely quintessential Yorkshie village with a shop, 3 pubs and lots of great walks. The only noise is the peaceful sound of the adjacent river Wharf and the sheep.

  • 5/5

What a brilliant spot, nice and level too! With the sound of the river as background, it’s positively idyllic. 5 min walk to the pub

  • 5/5

Great little spot right on the edge of the village and by the river. Bumped into the land owners who were tidying up branches. They have just had chippings delivered to deal with the puddles and mud, and are motor home owners themselves.

  • 4/5

Good little spot but can be boggy and muddy. No facilities but cheap and cheerful. Spaces quite tight but worth the £5 payment. Leave in red honesty box. A bin closer to parking would help.

  • 5/5

Really good value for money. Nice spot by the river. Quiet with no major road nearby. Nice little town with 3 pubs, a small shop and lots of good walks.

  • 5/5

Parking by the river next to the bridge so quite a bit of daytime traffic but only £3 for day parking or £5 overnight. No facilities but public toilets are a short walk away (08:00-20:00).

  • 5/5

Lovely little spot in a beautiful Yorkshire village. Parked right by the river, quiet throughout the night even when next to the road. Two other campervans. The chap who owns the car park from the garage is lovely and friendly. Had a pint in The Racehorse and was lovely sat out in the beer garden at the front watching the world go by. Would definitely recommend and would definitely be back

  • 5/5

Such a nice little park up,as everyone else has already said £5 for overnight stay. Pay via the honesty box. The man that owns the car park pops in daily. Toilets are open daily and cleaned. There is a laundrette attached to the garage £8 for 6kg will wash/ dry and fold your laundry,

  • 5/5

Well a little gem of a parkup. Right in the village next to the river three pubs cafes the lot the Blue bell pub food is top notch. Ace chef . And the price is £3 all day parking and an extra £2 per night. Pay via by honesty box at the entrance .

  • 4/5

Quiet spot, £5 honesty box on arrival. Right next to the river, go for a walk down & you’ll see all the little fish/ crayfish. Lovely spot to watch the sunset. Only issue we had was little bugs everywhere due to it being near the river, avoid parking under the trees to avoid the sap covering your car.

  • 5/5

perfect spot. right next to river. can hear all the sounds if nature. had food in the bluebell Inn as the racehorse felt too cramped. there's a tearoom close by but didn't have anything from there. toilets in carpark. Will definitely be back. £5 for overnight stay which includes parking for the day

  • 5/5

lovely place by the river, not much noise from the road either. A very short walk into the village and you have 2 pubs next to each other, we visited both, found the racehorses to be not as welcoming as the bluebell, the food at the bluebell was very nice indeed, if you like pie, get the bluebell pie! The owner of the carpark is a lovely man he also recommended the bluebell £5 for the night

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night and had a wonderful nights sleep. I used ear plugs as the river is loud Great pubs in the village. We ate at the Racehorse hotel - food great and friendly ( dog friendly too) and really handy to have public loos too.

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night. Great place to stay.

  • 4/5

Handy little stop off in a cracking village. The river is beautiful, and whilst the road is close it's quiet enough so as not to be an issue.

  • 5/5

Excellent quiet spot. By the river. Clean public toilets 24hrs within 2mins walk. Great ale and food at Racehorse Hotel (dog friendly). Pay in honesty box.

  • 5/5

We stayed here on 11/12/21 spending the night in the carpark whilst on an impromptu visit to the Dales. It's a lovely spot alongside the river. We had a couple of pints in The Bluebell Inn before retiring. Would recommend.

  • 5/5

1st time using this app and what a great spot, amazing scenery and extremely quiet night listening to the owls ..

  • 5/5

Fantastic spot by the river. Quiet and central. 2 minutes walk from Kettlewell village. Pubs, cafes, restaurant, lots of walks and on the Dales Way

  • 5/5

Lovely spot next to the river, lovely village & toilets close by.

  • 5/5

Lovely place only £5 from midday to next morning. We parked right by the river, it was very quiet. There is mains water at the toilet block across the road but the tap has been removed, take a pair of pliers with you and you’ve got water!

  • 5/5

Just pulled up in the corner of the big car park next to the river.. there is a no overnight camping sign but wasn't busy, 3 rangers came through in the morning but just said hello. nice local pubs and some great walks and nature

  • 5/5

Amazing little spot! We parked up (reversed in) at the corner of the car park to make it more private. It was lovely waking up next to the river, made breakie and had a brew while the birds flew around us. Kettlewell is lovely also, the food in the pubs is expensive but good.

  • 5/5

Perfect location. we were there the first sunny Bank Holiday after lockdown eased and still got a place no problem. Next to the River Wharf, lovely for paddling and even swimming. Great pubs and clean toilets all within a few hundred yards. Garage was closed when we were there so we put our £5 in the honesty box

  • 5/5

In Kettlewell across the road from the garage and next to the river. Great place for day and night, honesty box. Peaceful and enough room for about 15 cars easy. Pubs, cafes, toilets, launderette and village shops only a short walk away. Plenty of expensive campsites nearby if you need hook up. A walkers paradise! Enjoy. Leave no trace.

  • 5/5

Really lively and private. Short stroll from the pubs. My daughter and I had a great night's sleep there.

  • 5/5

Great quiet location. Only us overnight. Right by river so great for fishing. No facilities but village has toilets open from 8am to 8pm. £5 for 24hours bargain.

  • 5/5

Lovely little village. Paid the garage or there is a box at the entrance to put your money in. It's £3 for the day or £5 for the night. Well worth a visit and lovely walks , would definitely come back. Please take your rubbish home with you don't spoil it for others.

  • 5/5

Right in the centre of the pretty village next to the river wharf. Three pubs in village. Well worth a stop.

  • 5/5

Good stop for the night. Just off main road. Couple of pubs very close by and some cafes (closed on Friday morning however, but it is January!) flat and quiet. Paid £3 to the garage opposite for the night

  • 4/5

Good spot. Good walking. Pubs and cafes close by. Parking spots for walkers during day but alone at night. Pay garage £5 over the road. Same price as day parking in the official car park over the road.

  • 4/5

2 minute walk to pubs , nice spot a little noisy early evening

  • 4/5
