A good place to park up for the day walking around Goathland, and as a base for watching the Flying Scotsman when it is on the NYM Heritage Railway No overnight parking signs are now in place, and we were told the NYM Park Rangers do enforce this with the assistance of the local MOD police at Fylingdales base.
Nice place to park up and have a mooch. Few lay-bys down the road for overnight parking!

Amazing spot! Beautiful view and only down the road from Goathland! I wasn't bothered by anyone and I was there throughout the afternoon into late morning. Others come and go to enjoy the view/ have a snack. The only down side was another van came later and had a fire next to the open moorland and played loud music till late - suppose that's just the luck of the draw! would use it again!
Absolutely fantastic! Gorgeous spot, quiet once you get used to the cattle grid, friendly sheep and a yummy ice cream van. Flat surface, friendly locals and no bins. The pictures don’t do it justice at all, we will definitely return. 11/10 haha!!
Perfect place to chill out yes there is a cattle grid but to be honest after 10 mins you don’t notice it
