the paved area in the photos has some buildings on it at the moment (not sure if that’s temporary or not), but you can still park on the gravel part next to it in the photos. The gravel part is on a football pitch so pretty noisy, I wouldn’t sleep here but we did leave our van here guarded safely whilst climbing Toubkal. For sleeping head to the nature spot further down :)
pretty good spot to leave the van whilst going on an overnight hike - its in a watched area with other vans/busses. nicer areas to sleep in though. not flat, definitely busy during the day, and unsure on how much it costs to park if at all
Parking bezpłatny , cisza spokój jeśli staniesz blisko rzeki. jest woda przy kontenerze koło parkingu i śmietnik na placu obok. Wieczorem młodsze dzieci i dziewczynki grają w piłkę ale tylko do zmroku. Piłka jest dziurawa więc nie zrobią szkody i grają w centralnej części.
Wer nicht mehr braucht, als einen befestigten Parkplatz, dem dient dieser Ort vollständig. Wir standen zwei Nächte dort und es war, ausser dem abendlichen Fussballspiel der Jugend sehr ruhig. Um zu wandern oder gar den Toubkal zu besteigen ein perfekter Platz. Von Bewachung haben wir allerdings nichts gesehen. Wir fühlten uns trotzdem sicher.
Prima parkeerplaats. Het was overdag heel druk, maar we hebben een rustige nacht gehad. We hebben onze camper er ook zonder problemen kunnen laten staan tijdens onze overnachting op Mount Toubkal. Er werd ons wel gevraagd te betalen, maar omdat niet een officieel iemand was hebben we hiermee gewacht. Toen de politie aanwezig was werd ons nergens meer om gevraagd.
Grand parking gratuit en pente à l’entrée d’Imlil donc bien situé. Arrivés un dimanche fin de matinée, beaucoup de mini bus stationnés sur ce parking, beaucoup de monde. Belle vue. Ce parking est également utilisé comme terrain de jeu (foot, vélo) par les jeunes jusqu'à la tombée de la nuit. Nuit calme.
Ideale plek om vanuit hier Imlil en de vallei te ontdekken. Het is natuurlijk gewoon een betonnen parkeerplaats met uitzicht dus niet in de natuur, maar wel fijn gelegen. Vele mooie wandelmogelijkheden!
Es gibt halt nicht sehr viel im Tal, aber uns hat der Platz nicht gefallen. Es ist sehr viel los um den Platz & nicht sehr sauber. Wir sind das Tal Richtung Tacheddirt hochgefahren & haben in einer Kehre den perfekten Platz gefunden. Allerdings kam 3x die Polizei & wir mussten doch runterfahren. Es ist anscheinend zu unsicher & der Parkplatz ist sicher. Der Parkplatz ist kostenlos.
Lugar tranquilo y gratuito para pasar la noche. Dejamos la furgoneta aparcada aquí durante 3 días, sin problema.
hier 3 nachten gebleven. helemaal met rust gelaten, ook politie had geen interesse. je bent snel in centrum dorp. de weg erheen is net nieuw asphalt, zeer goed
Parking jest odnowiony i czysty. Nikt nie chciał od nas pieniędzy, a noc była bardzo cicha i spokojna. Blisko do „centrum” gdzie można znaleźć przewodnika i wypożyczyć sprzęt. My polecamy Jozefa;) Zostaliśmy jedną nocą.
Makkelijke uitvalsbasis naar de watervallen. De toegangsweg naar Imlil is onder constructie en daarom op dit moment wel een uitdaging voor grotere campers. Busjes etc is geen probleem. De zogenaamde parkwachter is ook bij ons langs geweest om de 20 Dirham te vragen. Gezellig gevoetbald met een stel jongens uit het dorp.

I stayed there for 3 nights while exploring Imlil. It’s very calm at both day and night, the police is just next door and told me it’s a safe and free parking at Imlil. One morning a local came, said he was the parking guard and ask for money. I refuse to pay and he just left. I felt totally safe letting my car here while away for 2 days for the Toubkal trek and nothing happened !
We went here to park to visit Imlil, but it was a bit abandoned. There was no guard, and also nobody else parked there so we decided to find a guarded spot in the village. But it looks like a fine place to spend the night. The locals are very friendly.
Auf dem Platz wird Fußball gespielt. Wir parkten daneben auf einem Betonfundament. Die Polizei war nicht mehr am Ortseingang und es wollte auch niemand 20 mad von uns. Es gibt im Ort jedoch bessere Plätze um im Auto zu übernachten.
Nice parking spot to use as a base for climbing Toubkal or doing other hikes in the area. Quite a lot of kids kicking footballs around in the evening, but they keep the games away from the vans. Friendly parking attendant and also next to a police checkpoint during the day. 20dh per night. If doing the 2 day climb up Toubkal then you can pay either before or after your hike.
Free and safe place, lots of kids and trash around, but don’t expect too much.
Big parking area where the kids play football in the afternoon. Nice view of the mountains behind the villages. Stayed for one night, in the morning a nice guard - that’s been seen during the day and evening - asks for 20dirham. Good stay.
Pasamos un noche allí con intención de subir al toubkal. El parking es gratuito aunque piden dinero. Aparcan autobuses y la policía nos vio sin poner ningún problema. Jugamos con los niños locales y fue divertido. Les dimos caramelos. Para subir al toubkal o al refugio es obligatorio ir con guia, oficial 400dh o local (no oficial) 150dh dos personas.
Der Platz ist nur sicher solange die Polizei die Zufahrt in den Ort kontrolliert. Nachts und morgens findet derzeit keine Polizeikontrolle statt.Die Besteigung des Toubkal ist seit der Enthauptung von 2 jungen Schwedinnen die hier gezeltet haben nur noch mit den völlig überteuerten „Guides“ erlaubt. Einzelwanderer ohne Guide werden von der Polizei zurückgeschickt. Very unfriendly place and people
Quite ok to spend a night or two exploring the surroundings and hike (with obligatory guide) to Toubkal. Very calm and the Police welcomed me and took a photo of my passport. Near shops and restaurants.
Parking gardé en permanence par la police, beaucoup de places et à proximité des départs de randonnées. Pas de service, nuit calme.
Pasamos aquí dos noches, Muy tranquilo y policía vigilando las 24h. Sin presencia de vendedores. No hay servicios. ver fuente en dirección ansi Es la mejor opción, el camping (no es camping, es el parking de un albergue pequeño) tiene difícil acceso, pequeña calle, resbaladiza y con ramas de árboles a menos de 3m. Precios de las tiendas más caros que ne ansi.
Very good parking. during the night very calm and of course safe being guarded permanently by 2 friendly policemen (3 teams). i stayed close to the river. i went to see the campside in town but was disappointed because very small and access is very narrow. but friendly owner.
Village très sympa, où les habitants sont très accueillants. Les gendarmes sont toujours là, nous les avons fourni en café. Les arbres fruitiers sont en fleurs et les tajines tellement bonnes.
