Parking au bord du canal sans restriction. Zone de gravier surplombant l'eau et les bateaux. Arrière de petit industriel mais assez calme la nuit.
Il suffit d'ajouter une usine de l'autre côté de la rivière pour créer un bruit de bourdonnement constant qui vous aidera à dormir et les habitants ont été assez sympathiques.
Parking by canal no restrictions. Gravel area over looking water and boats. Back of small industrial but fairly peaceful at night.
Just have to add factory across the river creates a constant droning noise that will help you sleep and the locals have been friendly enough.
Parken am Kanal ohne Einschränkungen. Kiesfläche mit Blick auf Wasser und Boote. Hinter einem kleinen Industriegebiet, aber nachts recht ruhig.
Man muss nur hinzufügen, dass auf der anderen Seite des Flusses ein ständig dröhnendes Geräusch entsteht, das einem beim Schlafen hilft, und die Einheimischen waren freundlich genug.

Stayed here for 1 night, arrived late & left at 10am. Really quiet. Not woken in morning even though dog walkers & people working on the canal boats around. “Droning” sound is barely audible, sounds like a fan or a/c unit - didn’t disturb me at all so don’t be put off! Great, picturesque park up - undisturbed. LIDL & Morrisons 2 mins away. Go slow on entrance, road is like the surface of the moon!
At the end of housing estate, parking area is full of cars, vans and the “road” is very rough full of huge potholes and water - managed to bump up alongside the tarmac road before the houses start. Quiet despite the factory and dog walkers in morning. Left early as only stayed to have work completed on motorhome at armitage trailers. Is a free car park near station providing you are getting a train into Leeds
Third time we have stopped here. Lovely spot next to the canal with a pub just along the canal on the other side and short drive from shops/take aways. Factory across the canal has a quiet humming sound but we both sleep well. Waste bin on road just off parking area.

slept well. quiet enough from the factory. only warning for anyone staying there. if you have anything low hanging under van. be careful as part way down the road there is an uneven part of the road which you may catch on. dog walkers there from dawn to dusk. recommended stay.
Great place to stop, apart from the glass factory which didnt bother us, very nice couple of nights.
Pleasant parking alongside the canal with canal side doggy walks. Yes, some noise from the glass factory opposite but this is an industrial area and we would use again as it’s so handy when travelling north/south on the A1
been there and left due to some contractor has taken half of parking area with their fences and equipments. left about 2 car spaces only.
A pretty spot right by canal & a river & traffic wise very quiet. There’s a constant low level noise from factory opposite but I did not find it intrusive. There are some river side paths for dog walking but the whole time there was a background chemically whiff which is a shame. Morrisons and small Sainsbury’s in Knottingley.
stayed 1 night as a pit stop. Got there after dark. we were the only ones parked there all night. couple dog walkers came past but that was it. car park surface has as many craters as the moon, not nice for anything low.... wouldn't have driven my car over it. factory over the water does have a constant droning noise, which I actually found quite soothing as I can't sleep in the silence.
Nice place to stop over. factory moise wasn't a problem. saw boats on canal. we only stopped one night from about 7pm till 9am but definitely use it again space for about 4 vans maybe 5
Stopped there on a Saturday night and had a great night sleep. Yes a constant drone noise for the glass factory but nothing to cry about. Great with wildlife and dog walkers.
Yes it's noisy from factory opposite but earplugs solved tht. No smell noticed. Were about 3 cars of youth at one time but they gone by 21.30. Police seem to patrol area lot but is tht due to covid n groups meeting up??
VERY noisy factory on the opposite side of the canal. Sound likes a jet engine.... trouble free play to pull up and have some food.. Wouldn't stay the night here
Nice quiet location just for the night.
Cars pass untill late at night and the industrial unit makes a bit of a smell but, apart from that, a peaceful enough stay!
Noisy all night from the factory. This is even more of a problem if you want to open a hatch to ventilate your van on a warm night.
The noise is not so loud, but if there is no wind it starts smelling after burned plastic. So I moved late to a random place in a street.
