(FK14 7BE) Dollar - 20 Castle Road

great spot, made it up to it with our gigantic campervan. My uncle ran up the road to make sure we would make it/fit and ran into some friendly cops who welcomed us to stay to night in the car park if we wanted. thought that was pretty neat and unexpected. we didn't end up staying, cuz we had places to see after. But good, huge parkade, w/ garbage and flat

Nice, quiet stay for the night before we head up to Inverness. Only 2 other motorhomes parked up when we arrived late on. Nice drive through Dollar before heading up a little narrow lane up hill with a couple of tight turns (7.5m motorhome). No street lights. Quiet. Small bin available.

flat car park, a bit dingy and part surrounded by high wire fencing. many dog walkers. not suitable for more than 6m vans as there are some very narrow roads on the way up with a particularly tight 90 degree bend between houses. if you come here do not try and leave between 8.30 and 9 on a school day. D Dollar is complete car carnage with school drop offs!

Parcheggio in piano su asfalto immerso nella natura, uno spettacolo! strada single Road leggermente ripida con dei noisi dossi. la larghezza sarà sui 2.5mt nei punti più stretti lunghezza nessun problema.

Hier startet eine herrliche Wanderung durch das Tal. Wir bleiben über Nacht, es ist sehr gerade!

Lovely big and quiet car park just outside of the town of dollar. Would not recommend for longer than 6m vans as we had a small t6 at this point and it was tight. No public toilets either despite saying so. Just a car park and a bin.

Quite at night. Steep road up. Had to 2nd gear it. Perfect for a night. Dog walks all around, especially down the Glen .

El camino para llegar es empinado y estrecho, pero el final merece la pena. Hay dos parking, este para dormir (queda a la derecha en la subida) y uno más arriba para aparcar y visitar el castillo. Nosotros al subir no vimos la entrada a este aparcamiento y llegamos arriba del todo. Nos tocó bajar de nuevo. Recomendado.

Nous étions 5 la nuit et c’était très calme. La route d’accès est très pentue et pas large mais j’ai monté un camping-car de 7m par 3m. Par contre, le dimanche matin le parking était plein de voiture qui partait au rafting…

Montée assez raide sur route pas très large (mais notre gros camping-car est passé) pour y accéder, mais une fois là haut, nuit tranquille sur un grand parking. Chateau accessible à pied, avec de jolies cascades à voir dans les ravins autour.

Big parking space, we were all alone. No services besides a trash bin. Nice walking paths around the space.

Un parking avec 8 places. Très bien, il n'y avait personne. Calme, plutôt mignon en bord de fôret.

Een hele rustige plek, waar we de nacht alleen hebben doorgebracht. Een aanrader! er is een prullenbak op de parkeerplaats aanwezig, verder zijn er geen andere voorzieningen. rondom het kasteel is de natuur prachtig en je kunt er heerlijk wandelen.

Great spot, but turning into the lane is a little tight and it’s a steep hill. However, level car park and very quiet night. Could hear the Owls nearby. Looking forward to a walk in the morning.

Here tonight on our own. Used the first car park on the right up the hill as it was empty. Yes the hill is steep and the road is just about single track but we are 7m long and had no problems. No noise from anything in this area, great place.

Super spot calme, petit parking avec petite poubelle. Bruit des oiseaux, superbe randonnée à faire juste à côté autour du château (château fermé mais alentours ok) - pas beaucoup (voire personne surtout) de monde sur le parking et super 4G - attention, grosse montée pour arriver au parking

Very quiet. Only us there on a week day. Castle was closed for renovations though so maybe busier when open. A couple of local lads in cars turned up late but were no bother. Small recycle bin, great walks nearby but very steep! Please don’t get your bbq out, it’s a car park not a camp site.

Plenty spaces …woodland walks nearby . I had the barbecue out no problems great wee spot ..

Tucked away, relatively quiet and great access to walks (castle, Glendevon, King’s Seat). Rubbish and plastic/tin/paper recycling bin. Relatively steep road to get there and another parking lot even further up the hill, but for cars only (no motorhomes sign).

Very quiet at night. Great walks around the Castle. Rubbish bin and good 4G on Vodafone and Three.

Great little camp spot, brilliant castle and waterfalls nearby, quiet overnight.

Parking très calme et pratique pour la visite de Castle Campbell. Nuit sans soucis avec 2 autres véhicules.

Lovely spot, some kids camping up the hill made a bit of noise but not too late. Castle is well worth a visit via the pretty footpath. Access road is quite narrow if you were in a big motorhome.

Nice space and quite at night, some young ones camping further up the hill but no problems, would go back. No toilet facilities in this car park.

Nice place for an one night stay to visit the Dollar Glen and the castle. The castle was closed when we arrived but the landscape is stunning from the upper glen.
