quiet at night, busy with tourists during the day and in the evenings. we parked on the grass (easily doable with 2wd) as we didn't want to block the little paved parking.
Parking avec vue magnifique au bout de la route. Pendant la journée, beaucoup de voitures arrivent ici, mais la nuit, c'est calme. Ce n'est pas complètement plat. La route est raide mais goudronnée. Vue imprenable sur la vallée et les montagnes. Possibilité de se promener.
Parking with great view at the end of the road. During the day a lot of cars come up here, but at night it is quiet. It is not completely flat. The road is steep but paved. Amazing view of the valley and mountains. Possibility to take a walk.
Parkplatz mit toller Aussicht am Ende der Straße. Tagsüber kommen viele Autos, nachts aber sehr ruhig. Nicht ganz gerade. Die Straße hoch ist etwas steil aber asphaltiert.
Super Aussicht ins Tal und umliegende Berge. Möglichkeit etwas zu spazieren.

rania.sh04/07/2023accès facile pour tout véhicule. quelques personnes jusqu'à la nuit puis très calme. belle vu sur les montagnes et le monastere, près d'une cascade. petit parking et bonnes places pour planter des tentes.

At the moment use the Stepanzminda Street to go up, not the Tbilisi Street, which is completely under construction work. No snow at the moment, so no problem without a 4x4. Road is steep but well paved, we managed driving in 1st gear. Really great view on the Kasbek! In the evening lots of people go to the church; quiet at night.

Super Aussicht auf den Kazbek. Wir haben hier zwei ruhige Nächte verbracht.

Super schöne Aussicht. Im Kloster nebenan kann man meditieren. Der Asphaltplatz ist leider schief. Mit ein paar Steinen kann man aber Abhilfe schaffen. Von hier aus kann man auch schön wandern. Es gab viele frei laufende Pferde und Kühe, welche ziemlich lästig wurden.

erlebnissammler31/07/2022Einer der besten Plätze in Georgien! Wir sind am Parkplatz einfach in die Wiese gefahren. Dort ist es einigermaßen gerade und wir standen zwei Nächte in absoluter Ruhe. Manchmal galoppieren Nachts die Pferde und Esel vorbei - absolut idyllisch! Klasse Panorama!
