It is outside a row of houses - unacceptable parking!!
Stationnement en bordure de route. Beaucoup de circulation pendant la journée, le soir et le matin, la nuit a été assez calme. Solution d'urgence lorsque tout dans le centre-ville est plein (la plupart sont "pas de stationnement de nuit").
Roadside parking. A lot of traffic during the day, evening and morning, the night was quite quiet. Emergency solution when everything in the city center is full (most of it is "no overnight parking").
Parkplätze am Straßenrand. Tagsüber, Abends und Morgens viel Verkehr, die Nacht war recht ruhig. Notlösung wenn im Stadtzentrum alles voll ist (das meiste dort ist "no overnight parking").
Estacionamiento en carretera. Mucho tráfico durante el día, la tarde y la mañana, la noche era bastante tranquila. Solución de emergencia cuando todo en el centro de la ciudad está lleno (la mayoría son "sin estacionamiento nocturno").
Parcheggio lungo la strada. Un sacco di traffico durante il giorno, la sera e la mattina, la notte era abbastanza tranquilla. Soluzione di emergenza quando tutto nel centro della città è pieno (la maggior parte sono "nessuna sosta notturna").
Parkeren langs de weg. Veel verkeer overdag, 's avonds en 's ochtends was de nacht vrij rustig. Noodoplossing als alles in de binnenstad vol is (de meeste zijn "geen nachtparkeren").

A layby on the side of the road which we managed to get the last spot of (we are travelling in a medium commercial van and not a motorhome). It had good shelter from the bad wind and 24/7 toilets were available a 7 minute walk away in town.

Parking next to a road, not scenic. 10 minute walk from Portree centre. Free to park and overnight. No services. There is a pool close where you can swim for £1 on Wednesday morning.

Ottimo luogo, non molto grande
Jeffers16/05/2023Parked for day only for visit to the town. Free. 5/10 min walk to centre. Petrol station across the road 60 metres away. On a fairly busy road so do dont know about overnighting. Excellent fish n chips at top of the road leading to harbour-£9.50.

we slept here as the 4 overnight parking spots at the harbour were taken. no signs prohibiting overnight stay, but the road is noisy in the morning.

Zona tranquila a la salida del pueblo, por la mañana entre semana se nota el movimiento de la furgoneta con El Paso de coches y camiones. Pasamos una buena noche sin problemas. Recomendable ya que en el resto del pueblo está prohibido dormir en los parkings
