Stayed on a weeknight out of season. Quiet enough to get good sleep. Great location for town amenities. Big enough space outside the bakery to park a 6.5m motorhome. I imagine this would be noisy and difficult to park in peak season.
Good place to camp for the ferry in the morning. Would recommend parking up after 8 as the seafood shack shuts then so it’s a bit quieter. Pub down the round can be a bit noisy, but it wasn’t too bad on a Wednesday night. Nice and close to toilets. Stealth camper useful. Spaces fitted our 5m Peugeot Boxer fine.
Very noisy in the evening, drunk people walking past, had to move outer town to park.
Kamen Nachmittags hier an. Es war nur noch ein Parkplatz frei. Leider war dieser für unseren VW T4 zu eng und wir fuhren weiter. Enge Straßen und viel Verkehr. Wir entschieden uns nun doch für den Campingplatz in der Nähe, er war ok. Die Toiletten in der Nähe von diesem Parkplatz testeten wir am nächsten Tag. Waren kostenpflichtig und nicht sehr sauber.
Totally fine place to stay the night, in a 4.8m VW campervan, larger motorhomes won’t fit. From 10 it’s an hour’s parking, so you’re fine until 11. I arrived at 1am from ferry, it was quiet until 8am, then coffee shop across the road opened and I had delicious breakfast. Showers and loos nearby, but shower was ice cold.
