great place in front of the beach, overnight banned, so just daily parking, also.with a 7m we found space to park:)

fantastic view. To pay for parking by app switch to French cellphone operator due to cliffs, UK reception is almost nonexistent.

Schitterende plek, pal aan het water. Heerlijke zee. Lastig om de app, voor betalen, te downloaden omdat er heel slecht bereik is. Uiteindelijk gelukt. Je mag niet overnachten op parkeerplaats. Wordt blijkbaar streng gecontroleerd. Restaurant voor wat te eten/ drinken. Zij hebben toestemming van stadsbestuur/ politie om max 6 campers voor de nacht een plek te bieden. Van te voren aanvragen!!

Wir haben hier den Nachmittag verbracht. Super, um einfach mal nichts zu tun. Für die Übernachtung haben wir dann aber umgeparkt und am ansässigen Restaurant gestanden. Natürlich waren wir dort essen und haben gefragt. Das war kein Problem und das Essen echt gut. Allerdings dann mit 60£ auch ein recht teurer Stellplatz ;-) Ein Pint weniger wäre gut gewesen. ;-)

Brilliant day stop. Parking is free over winter. There is a protection order in place: no overnight camping. Small coffee / tea chalet, public toilets. The Coastguard pub allows overnight stays but contact them first: you have to buy food. ACCESS ROAD IS NARROW AND STEEP. ROADWORKS MEAN ACCESS IS DIFFICULT in early 2025: a diversion requires a hairpin bend (maybe VW Transporter is the maximum).

The Coastguard pub next to the car park allow overnight parking. Be warned the road down from the village is very narrow and steep. Okay until you meet another large vehicle coming the opposite way!

Schön, um den Strand zu genießen. Es ist aber verboten zu übernachten. Wir hatten extra bei einem Eisstand nachgefragt. Es gibt Kontrollen. Der Verkäufer gab uns den Tipp beim Restaurant nachzufragen, ob wir auf Ihrem Parkplatz bleiben können. Aus Höflichkeit haben wir dort zu Abend gegessen, sie erlaubten uns hier zu übernachten. :)

This is the kind of place you dream about parking at if you own a camper. The views are beautiful BUT the signs are contradictory. Parking between 6pm and 8am is free, but no overnight camping allowed. So don't camp here. just park here. for a few hours. Between 6pm and 8am. Also dogs on a leash at all times. There is a toilet here, and it was open at 4am when we parked up here.

Superbe vue sur la Manche et on aperçoit la France. Parking OK pour la journée.

Stayed in nearby Coastguard pub car park (by arrangement). The public car park of this location has a clear sign at entrance saying no camping/overnight stays allowed. Previous reviewers presumably ignored this. At this time of year though (end-Sept) probably unlikely to be moved on.

Only 2 other campervans in the large car park and good food at the pub. If using a mobile phone for an alarm don't get caught out like we did and not notice that your phone is connected to France thereby changing the time!

you can still use the pub from the main carpark. Poor quality phone signal to pay 90p per hour on the Ringo app otherwise its free parking from 1800 / 0900 so bring change for the meter or pay for it at the top of the cliffs while you still have signal.

Really lovely place to stop. Approach road is tight, we are 6.7m long, 2.8m high and 2.3m wide, made it with ease. If you want to use the RingGo app to pay for parking do it before you get down there, no phone signal, only french service available. Time limit is 24 hours, no height restrictions

We lived in the village and sleep here very often. never a problem pub is friendly. watch out for the naughty Tory, as mp Elphick lives above. This I believe is why there's no overnight on the sign, that no locals take any notice of.

Kein Verbotsschild entdeckt. spät gekommen und morgens früh zur nahen Fähre gefahren. Schöne Sicht auf Kiesstrand und Klippen. Empfehlungswert. Über Servicemöglichkeiten kann ich nichts sagen.

We found this place by accident after arriving quite late by ferry. The road down is not for any kind of large vehicle as it's very narrow with tight curves. Local police let us stay one night.

Nice parking, seems to be free till March. No overnight parking but a good start for hiking along the cliffs.

When there is a sign saying „no overnight camping“ than please respect that. There are many other places where you can stay not so far away.

Arrived at the place at 4 a.m. after our ferry from Dunkirk. Some other campervans were already standing there. Nobody complained about us staying there for one night. Pretty steep and tight road down there. For older cars pretty hard to get back up there..

Amazing views. Quiet. Bit of tight road but we managed in our long wheel base van. Toilets remained open all night but you'll need a torch to use them when it's dark !

Mauvais plan, il est très clairement indiqué qu'il est interdit de dormir la nuit en camping-car, confirmé par le plagiste local, sommes repartis ! Dommage endroit superbe !
