Great spot for walking and cycling. I did notice a sign that says no overnight parking. It will be very a good spot to stay overnight, and you may get away with it.
awoody28/03/2022Stayed overnight 25th March 2022, very quiet, the only noise was the the river to fall asleep to. It is a 1 & 1/2 mile walk down the river to Derby. We ate at the Shed pub just the other side of the river, 2 min walk over the toll bridge. We were in a MWB van,any larger you might not get back out of car park if it’s full. Tip park near the bin next to the gate to the house you will get out then.

Lovely place, fell asleep to the relaxing sound of the river. Lovely riverside walk in the morning.

We stayed for one night, great spot and some fab bars and restaurants very close. Had no issues very quiet, there were two other campers that stayed, however on the way out as we left the wife noticed a sign that stated no overnight parking.
samuelhall0219/08/2021Stayed 16/8. Great spot, next to the park for dog walks. Flat car park. 3 other vans there when I arrived too. Very busy with dog walkers but nobody bothered me.
KayRM13/08/2021Car park gets full on a sunny day. Not suitable for big motorhomes when busy as little turning room. Perfect spot for dog walking and for young children to safely explore. Cars arriving from 6am on sunny summer day.

Lovely place for long walks, pretty countrysise. peaceful, but pub handy. Recycle bins overflowing but it was a bank holiday. neerby waterfall and folk paddling although advice notice warning against it. a bit obscure to find, but the sat nav was accurate.
