Good size area and flat. Only comment is that while the road was quiet overnight it got busy from 06:30.

Decently level gravel surface. Did have quite a few people pop by (who didn't bother us) but left tissues strewn around... Quite a lot of road noise in the morning with big trucks hitting potholes making sounds like a derailed train!

Stayed here for an afternoon and it was lovely. Ruins just up the hill which offer the most breathtaking views. Free roaming sheep on the ruins so be mindful of the waste when walking. Can be a bit dangerous as it's very muddy after raining. Only issue was the tiny backroads needed to get here. Also can't walk to shops from the spot as the road into it is too dangerous with no footpath.

It's one of THOSE spots. Once the boy racers had finished doing doughnuts, the doggers started rocking up every 20 minutes to see if we were a part of their club. We gave up and left, feeling very uncomfortable with people parking directly in front of us shining their headlights into the van.

Had to leave another spot after being accused of steeling and didn’t feel safe so moved here. Good spot, just tucked behind hedge between main road, was a bit noisy but slept alright. Great views at top of ruin on the hill.

Few cars around until 11pm ish, but then quiet until 7am. Right next to a road but wasn’t loud through the night sheep were a bit baa-y until late haha. Nice to be surrounded by nature, no toilets etc. good spot had a decent night

pretty spot, level and no height restrictions. popular to watch the sunset. I was worried about the group of local teenagers drinking on the hill, but they were very polite and all dispersed when the sun went down, and we had a very quiet night.

Staying here now for 1 night, popped some money in the honesty box. Nice little ruined church on top of the hill - postcode was going to take us near a canal but we missed the turning the sat nav told us to take. Good job we missed it as it actually lead us to the right place the main road we stayed on. Dog walkers and hikers during the day but then quietens down during the night.

Strangely enough, this is a National Trust car park that you are allowed to stay in, with only a suggested donation of £2, which I happily paid. The site is level & beautifully situated beneath "The Mump", a majestic hill, rising from the surrounding flat landscape. It has a ruined church at its peak, dedicated to the Somerset casualties of WW2. The nearby pub, the King Alfred Inn, is Brill too!

Ein schöner Parkplatz um Borrow Mump zu besichtigen und die Aussicht zu genießen. Man sollte freiwillig 2£ bezahlen.

Good stop off a slightly noisy rd

Camped in the car here, great pub on the other side of the hill, which can be accessed via a path skirting round the south of the hill to avoid the A road. Lovely views of the levels and the mump in the morning.
