This is a parking area next to the Taunton Park and Ride with no height barrier. It is a wide access road to a network rail depot and popular parking for dog walks for Longrun Meadow and Frenchweir park. Level 40 minute walk into town or jump on the park and ride. Park along the curb after turning around at the depot gates. Mainly level, quiet, except for trains, depot not very busy. We live locally and I would overnight if I needed to. No barriers or gates.

We stayed here at the end of July with no problems. There was another motorhome staying further up for the night also. a few people turnt up to walk there dogs but by 8.30pm we didn't see anyone and it was fairly quiet. would definitely stay there again. -Family staying in a campervan

Stopped here last night (Tuesday evening) , arrived about 9pm and no-one else was there, but at 10pm a group of about 6 or 7 cars with lots of young people arrived and started making a lot of noise in general and revving engines. Me and family felt very intimidated and not safe so decided to move on.

Good basic location. No problem parking my 7.5m van and 25min walk into town along the river.

Good spot for access to French weir, and normally plenty of space although it can fill up on a nice weekend day. It's mostly level, it does lean a touch toward the curb so if you aim for level you'll want to whip out your blocks. It must be right near a 3 mobile network 4G mast because I was able to pull 100mb a second down at this spot.
