Tamar Lakes Campsite

Small, basic site set back from the lake. No signs for reception from the entrance, once we found the reception in the water sports hut the young members of staff weren’t that helpful or welcoming. 4 electric hook ups the rest just grass pitches. Basic toilet and shower block that is coded to get in (the code which we weren’t given, luckily some other campers helped us out). No staff to be seen day or night. Have to pay to launch your own kayak even though you’re staying on the site. Also struggled terribly for wasps everywhere!! Ok site for a night or two but personally wouldn’t recommend longer as its a bit out of the way from town! Wish we’d done more research!
