Looks like a great spot! We passed by today (14.08.2025) but it was closed due to activities taking place. Just a heads-up for anyone planning to visit.
Petit parking de stationnement au dessus d'Airolo. Terrain plat. Pas de services. Très calme la nuit. Vue sur Airolo. Idéal pour accès du col à vélo car sur route ancienne touristique, commune aux vélos et voitures. Attention peut-être interdit aux plus de 3,5 t.

roamingstardust18/05/2025Beautiful spot! Views of the mountains and down into the town. We stayed overnight and had no problems, one other camper here too. No problems from the cows, they were mostly up the hillside. BUT THE TICKS! This place is basically infested with ticks, so check your dogs over after being outside because every time we walked, I pulled about 10 from her fur!

But we had problems to handle the noise from the cows’ bell … they spent the night very close to us and it was actually pretty annoying. (Didn’t thought to say that, because I read the comment before, but I didn’t expected them that close ). Still a beautiful spot, just be ready for some music all night! :)
amt97629/09/2024Una bella area sullo sterrato a 1500 mt. ca. con una bellissima vista. Si arriva salendo qualche tornante del vecchio passo sulla Tremola che può essere stretto e in parte su ciottolato. Abbiamo trovato lavori al penultimo tornante prima del posteggio che ha ristretto la strada. Nessun servizio. Spazio per 3-4 camper. Notte molto tranquilla e strada poco trafficata.

Meilleure nuit pour le moment en Suisse. Un peu de passage en soirée et le matin mais calme autrement. Très belle vue sur Airolo. Nous étions 3 véhicules à passer la nuit ici. Les cloches des vaches ne nous ont pas dérangés.
AnniLou08/09/2024Der beste Spot an dem ich je geschlafen hab!:) Sternenklarerhimmel, Kuhglocken in moderater Lautstärke, Dunkel, keine befahrene Straße in der Nähe, nur pure Natur. Einfach perfekt. (keine Toiletten ist es aber trotzdem wert) Ich würde immer wieder dort übernachten und die Aussicht am Morgen ist der Wahnsinn:)

Sehr schöner Platz! Waren eine Nacht dort und außer uns war noch ein weiterer Camper vor Ort. Der Blick ist fantastisch und der Weg in Ordnung. Sehr empfehlenswert:)

l'emplacement est extraordinaire, calme, reposant, les jours de soleil c'est encore plus dépaysant. j'ai passé deux nuit sans soucis, sans bruit, juste quand les vaches viennent vous dire bonjour. je recommande sans hésiter

Perfekt für eine Übernachtung vor oder nach einer Gotthard Überquerung. Gelegentlich Verkehr bis ca 22 Uhr dann ruhig.

Fabulous spot. Great views. Peaceful. This is our second visit and we are the only ones here again. This time the cow bells were noisy though.

vom Platz her wundervoll... Leider liegen auch hier weiße papierige Hinterlassenschaften herum. Hab ich ausgeblendet und den Abend die Nacht und den Morgen total genossen.

Wow what a beautiful place! We stayed here one night as the pass was closed (probably due to the snow). We were all alone and had no problems.

Fabuleux spot pour la nuit ! Plat. Vue exceptionnelle. Presque difficile de repartir !Très calme. Aucune commodité, pas de poubelle etc, veillez à ne rien laisser sur place

Cool spot, we've been here twice and were always alone. almost no traffic at night, very quiet. Flat gravel surface. good views into the Alps and down the valley.

Possibly the most beautiful van life spot ever. Super quiet, amazing restaurant 9 minutes away that do the BEST cheese fondue & creme brûlée!!! Had a quiet safe sleep with the best view yet!

Très beau spot -calme et à plat, belle vue. De la place pour plusieurs campings cars. La police est passée le matin vers 8h mais ne nous a rien dit.

Bon spot, assez tranquille la nuit nous étions seul, pas d'interdiction de camper. belle vue. le plus embêtant à été le bruit des cloches des vaches très tôt le matin ...

Nice spot with a good view down the valley. Plenty of room and flat. Would happily stay here over night as it's very quiet.
