Sehr ruhiger Schlafplatz mit schöner Aussicht. Zufahrt über Waldstrasse, die ein bisschen zugewachsen ist aber mit Kastenwagen kein Problem. Aussicht lohnt sich :)

4 sterren puur voor de weg omhoog. Het is te doen maar met onze zware alkoof camper raakten we redelijk wat (zachte) takken en is de weg inderdaad vrij hobbelig met hier en daar een gat. Toen wij aankwamen had het 2 weken niet geregend, dat droeg wel bij aan de mogelijkheid voor ons om boven te komen. Het uitzicht is waanzinnig!!!

Great place. I was expecting the road up to be worse from the comments but it was no bother.

Un peu galère de monter jusqu'au parking, surtout en pleine nuit et par temps de pluie comme ça à été le cas pour nous. une fois en haut, le parking est plat et il y a beaucoup de place. Très belle vue au réveil sur le lac (Mars 2025 les arbres n'ont pas encore retrouvés leur feuille!) nous étions les seuls ce soir et aucune voiture jusqu'à midi! je recommande à 200%

Road up here really is quite challenging with a lot of big holes. Once up it is very quiet (only 3 cars came by to do the hike up the hill). The view as in the first photo is mostly covered by trees now, but the view from up the hill (15 min walk) is stunning!

Guter Platz für eine Übernachtung. Ebener Parkplatz für Wohnmobile gehts gut einfach etwas holprige Strasse mit Schlaglöchern. Langsam fahren dann gehts. Keine Entsorgung möglich und Platz bitte sauber hinterlassen.

Emplacement plat et bien protégé du vent. Petite balade sympathique en forêt. Par contre l'accès est vraiment compliqué. 1km d'une route remplies de trous et glissantes par temps de pluie. Et nous avons été envahit de midges!

Très agréable calme grand parking et plat. Agréable après une bonne journées. Un peu compliqué l'accès mais ça se fait.

Le chemin d'accès est correct même s'il y a quelques nids de poule sur le haut avant d'arriver au parking. Il est grand, plutôt plat et entouré de forêt. Nous y avons passé une nuit au calme et seuls :)

Comme prévu la route pour monter est un chemin en gravier, mais pas autant de nied de poule que souligné avant , ça reste correct comme l'état des route irlandaise . au bout un grand parking plat et ensoleillé. au coeur de la nature

The access road is extremely narrow and lots of deep dangerous potholes. For 3m high and 7m long it was difficult and not worth the spot at the end. Trees overgrown so there is no view of the lake. Wouldn't come back

Très joli point de vue, mais accrochez-vous pour vous y rendre : la route est très étroite et remplie de nids de poule ! Nous sommes arrivés vers 21h30 et étions seuls, deux voitures ont seulement fait demi-tour sur le parking peu de temps après notre arrivée. Nous nous sommes réveillés en compagnie de deux biches sauvages en plein repas aux abords de la forêt, magique !

Ruhiger Ort. Ausgangspunkt für eine kleine Wanderung, welcher einen wunderschönen Ausblick bietet. Ich stand ganz alleine hier. Keine Dienstleistungen.

We had a lovely peaceful night here, just a couple of dog walkers in the evening, views are amazing with a beautiful woodland walk and a view point within a few minutes of extra walking. Perfect if you have a dog. The only thing is the track leading to the car park, it is an up hill, bumpy track. We are in a Citroen relay LWB, not sure if like to do it in anything bigger.

Beautiful spot with views of the lake and a walk to keep us occupied. A little interesting to get up to the carpark. Very friendly locals. No facilities but didn't detract from the park-up. Would visit again.

It was a bit hard to reach it, but still worth it. Quiet, pretty and only see a walker the morning.

Bel endroit, au calme et avec une belle vue. Personne au mois de septembre avec nous la nuit. Sentier pour une balade a faire au levé/couché du soleil si le temps le permet.

Nous étions sur place le 4 juillet. Parking très tranquille. Quelques voitures passent (randonneurs, promeneurs) mais nous étions seuls la nuit.

Das ist eigentlich ein 5-Sterne-Platz. Großer Parkplatz mitten im Wald mit tollem Blick auf den See und Einstieg in einen Wanderweg. Zu erreichen über eine schmale kaputte Straße. Nachts sehr ruhig. Wir ziehen einen Stern ab, da wohl inzwischen sehr bekannt und überlaufen. Standen hier mit 5 anderen, die sich teilweise nicht benehmen konnten.

apparemment réputé, nous etions 4 véhicules, mais bien grand donc chaqu un sa tranquillité. effectivement très à l abris du vent, balades tranquilles autour.

Ottimo parcheggio, ampio ed in piano, ci si arriva tramite una stretta strada sterrata in salita di circa 1km, io sono salito senza grandi problemi con un mansardato, notte davvero molto tranquilla, lo consiglio.

Vlakke plaats. Ook wij zijn hier gaan staan om niet aan de kust te staan met de harde wind. Het is midden in het bos, dus erg rustig. Zelfs de auto's hoor je hier niet. Wel internet

Assez difficile d’accès mais possible en van de 6m. Permet d’accéder à une super balade facile de 20-30 minutes pour y. Point de vue magnifique sur le lough caragh.

We spent a really quiet night here all alone. A few dog walkers during the day. Access road is a little bumpy but nothing troubling. Parking area is slightly sloping. There's a lovely 30 minute loop walk that starts from the parking area. No services.

Parking très grand en pleine nature. Début de balade de deux km pour aller au sommet et avoir une vue sur le lac. Sympa pour une nuit de transit. Pas de service hormis une table avec banc pour manger. Quelques riverains viennent pour balader

bit of a rough road up (some potholes but manageable) Big parking area, flat, we were the only ones there overnight. The walk to the viewpoint (30 mins) is worth doing at sunset for 360° views over the lake and mountains

stunning view, fairly level parking area, very quiet. the park road up was a little rough but managed it fine in our 7metre motorhome. lovely walks, picnic table.
