Parking tranquille en bord de route mais très peu de passage la nuit. Poubelles a dispositions sur le parking en face, bouche d'incendie + robinet disponible à côté du pont et surtout un super pub de campagne avec des gens adorables. Nous vous recommandons d'aller y faire un tour et de discuter avec les locaux qui s'y trouvent !
Beautiful view of Killary Harbour from a car park edging the water. We got water from a pale yellow hydrant pump near the bridge. Water pump was hard to find so we asked in the small grocery store adjoining Hamilton’s pub. Hamilton’s was great, very friendly and served a tasty salad for lunch. Would definitely go back to this place.
Parking gratuit avec belle vue sur le fjord. Nous avons passé une nuit calme. Café juste à côté (non testé).
Assez pratique ! Calme la nuit et pub /resto à proximité donc très bien !
Parking calme en face d’un restaurant/bar (irish Breakfast). Assez plat et nuit sans problème. Manque juste de poubelle.
lovely view, felt save, sleep well. lots of other vans here, but not so many to take all the parking spaces for the locals. perfect!
Beautiful view of the Fjord from the car park. Hamilton's pub and shop are very welcoming. Plenty of parking and a number of spots that are suitable for motorhomes 7m +. Main road in close proximity which is the only downside.
Parking right in the middle of the village (shop/pubs) and a great view on the fjord. If you park yourself at the waterfront, road noise is present but not too disturbing
Assez grand parking avec superbe vue sur le fjord, relativement plat. Mais à côté de la route très passante : bruyant, et exposé aux vents. La proximité des pub/café est très pratique. Nous n’avons pas trouvé le point d’eau. Il y a des poubelles (petites) et des bennes recyclage (verre).
Molto comodo e una vista meravigliosa sul fiordo, unica pecca un po’ in pendenza
Local amplo e de fácil acesso com belíssima paisagem natural. Pena a ser junto à estrada o que o torna bastante ruidoso, mas nada que impeça um boa noite de sono. Tem a cerca de 100 metros a possibilidade de abastecer água potável.
Big carpark, next to Purple Door Cafe and local pub/shop. Multiple campers were there. Very safe with beautiful views over Killary Fjord!
Fabulous views and very quiet. This car park is a bit further off the road compared to the other across the bridge. The cafe was hopping busy in the morning. Excellent to see it.
Very nice spot. Quite busy in the evening but quiet overnight so a good nights sleep. Lovely pub with lots of references to an old movie called “The Field” that was shot there in 1990 due to the lovely scenery.
Great wee spot, free, no hassle. lovely bar 2 mins walk, Hamiltons with great food served all day and dog friendly. amazing views. quiet road nearby, no disturbances. EE coverage in full and 3 also. no facilities but not really needed if prepared. if coming to do the tourist things, they all close by 3pm :-)
Perfect spot. 2 pubs, cafe and a world class view to wake up to.
Pictures show two carparks. One is in the village, the other (where I stayed) is around the bend on the way to Westport and is a bit easier to access, with bins. Million dollar view over Ireland’s only fjord. Inspect the wind direction first though; mountains were sheltering me when I first parked then the wind changed direction and came right at the van, almost launching me into orbit!
super endroit et calme. On peut vider à la grille à l'emplacement des cars et remplir à la borne jaune au pont, on a mis une photo.
Très bel environnement, tranquille. Petit village avec pub.
Pour préciser un peu la situation de ce parking il n’y a aucune limitation de hauteur et il est situé juste en face de la Grocery Hamilton (façade bleue) qui remplace le Blackberry restaurant. Donc la photo de nuit du parking n’est pas la bonne elle correspond au second parking, j’en ai mis une autre.
Un parking tranquille la nuit ,gratuit avec des pubs à côté pour boire un coup. Vue sur le lochk

Wir haben hier zweimal eine Nacht verbracht. Der Connemara Wool Center Platz war jedesmal mit quer zu den markierten Parkflächen von Wohnmobilen zugestellt. Genau von diesen Campern, die gerne nichts bezahlen möchten, aber durch die Parkkultur dafür sorgen, dass "No Overnight" Schilder aufgestellt werden. Bitte auch die angrenzenden Pubs durch Verzehr unterstützen, da die das Übernachten dulden.
Beautiful location by the edge of the Fjord. Lovely village to explore. The restaurant at Hamiltons is lovely and friendly staff. We also had a drink at Gaynors - good Irish pub and welcome. The car park is level enough, had a good nights sleeps. No issues. There is a water tap just opposite Gaynors bar.
Bon emplacement avec vue sur le fjord de Killary. Nous nous apprêtons a y passer la nuit après avoir mangé au Hamilton. Nous recommandons le Hamilton, nous y avons reçu un excellent accueil, la cuisine est de qualité et le personnel très agréable et faisant l'effort de parler en français.

Hi all, I stayed here the night Friday 28th October 2022. This is a super Park4Night spot where I had a great night’s sleep and amazing views to wake up to. I used the pub shop and restaurant across the road which is really handy. I imagine this is a busy place during the main tourist season. I would definitely use this location again for an overnight stop:-)
remember to close your windows and vents.... plenty of midges around at end of august
Plusieurs camping cars chaque nuit sur les 2 parkings. Pubs/restos le soir et café ouvrant tôt le matin.
Ottimo parcheggio, in piano e davanti al mare, illuminato e tranquillo, sosta perfetta. Poco più avanti c'è un idrante con rubinetto, ma non ho potuto accedervi causa macchine parcheggiate davanti.
One of two car parks in the village. This one is better if you have a longer van or motorhome as you can hang the back end over dead space. No height barrier and lots of space. couple of cafes, pubs/shops where you can get basics. Wonderful view and very quiet when we were there. Would definitely return.
This area has been setup for tables etc for local cafes, and some parking for small cars. Please use the one right next to this one.
When we arrived the mist took over our view but after a couple of hrs it lifted, we walked the scene to Leenane Quay. Had dinner at the Blackberry. restaurant 10/10. superb.
En bout de fjord, endroit tranquille qui vaut surtout le détour pour aller profiter du Gaynors, un pub super chaleureux où il fait bon rester des heures quand le temps n'est pas assez sympa pour rester dehors, à ne pas manquer.
Parking au centre du village un peu bruyant mais vue magnifique et permet de passer une soirée tranquille et agréable au pub.
