As of the last few days, height restriction barriers have been erected. No longer possible to park any high vehicle. A shame, and short sighted. Campers here frequently used the local pub for food and socialising.
Parking Apcoa - payant. Pas de portes. Apcoa n'a pas de règles pour le stationnement de nuit. Je viens de passer un samedi soir tranquille à cet endroit. Je me sentirai peut-être un peu isolé pour quelqu'un seul, mais un autre campeur est arrivé quand j'étais ici. Très proche de la ville. Lidl de l'autre côté de la route a des toilettes. Le parking est très utilisé par les kayakistes - il y en a un juste le long de la route.
Apcoa car park -chargeable. No gates. Apcoa have no rules for overnight parking. I just spent a quiet Sat night in this spot. Might feel a bit isolated for someone on their own but another camper pulled in when I was here. Very close to town. Lidl over the road has toilets. Car park is used a lot by kayakers -there is a put in just along the road.

Vielleicht fühlt es sich für jemanden, der allein ist, etwas isoliert an, aber als ich hier war, kam ein anderer Camper vorbei. Ganz in der Nähe der Stadt. Lidl auf der anderen Straßenseite hat Toiletten. Der Parkplatz wird häufig von Kajakfahrern genutzt. Es gibt einen Parkplatz direkt an der Straße.

EvaP.08/06/2025Es ist bestimmt ein netter Parkplatz, wenn er nicht voll ist. Wir waren in der Woche dort und der Parkplatz war sehr voll (Autos parkten aich e tlang der Seiten), so dass ich nicht mal die Möglichkeit hatte meinen Van (6m) zu wenden und musste rückwärts wieder raus fahren.

quiet and just a few steps from the other carpark that didn't have any spaces large enough for our 7m motorhome. easy to pay with a card using the QR code. no app needed. or coins. enter on Quayside through the high stone walls. very close to town, pubs, tesco, cinema

We decided not to stay here or the parking along the street - there was a lot of people milling about as we parked up by a Motor Home but all 3 of us felt unsafe. Shame as it is very central

Stayed a rainy Sunday night in August, easy to find, great location with a short walk to the town and only a 30 second walk to a wee pub. 4 other campers there when we stayed. Quiet until the morning and then there was a lot of Monday morning comings and goings and car doors closing. €4 for 24 hours, no amenities but sure it was grand for a wee stop over for the night.

Der Platz ist ruhiger und geschützter und hat gegenüber dem Nachbarplatz auch noch den Vorteil, dass man nicht ab 8:30 Uhr bezahlen muss, sondern mit Münzen nur 3 € für 24 h direkt zahlen kann. Zudem sind die Plätze auch ebener. Für Wohnmobile bis 7 m sehr empfehlenswert!

Excellent central location and feels safe for overnight stops. Flat enough without ramps. We easily found a spot that fitted our 7m sprinter van. €4 for 24 hrs if you pay by phone. Lots of pubs and shops near by.

Great place for a central stopover. Spaces can be tight (we are 2.7m wide by 6.6m long), but you can fit in. Felt very secure. €3 for 24hrs is brilliant compared to other Sligo options.
